Can you tell us a little about you? My name is Enrico Munari. I’m a mechanical enginee r from Reg gio Emilia. I’m dedicated to photography since I was a child. M y work are available in social networks such as Fac ebook and Instagram.
How and when did you get into photography? I am dedicated to photography since I was a child. Photo-graphy is my father ’s passion handed down. Growing up, I became keen on modelling.
What does photography mean to you? Photography means being able to transmit emotions in the eyes of the beholder.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. Currently I’m choosing black and white pho-tos in a glamour key seeking “minimal” shots, knowi ng that I prefer to give photo’s subject space stop ping the best moment and emotions.
Where do you get inspiration from? I prefer natural light in both open and closed spa ces, but in ex treme cases there is no lacking in the use of led lights.
Do you think in advance what you want in the pictur e? Of course! I normally prepare a mood board. After this, with the model and based on the project, I se arch for the focus that I want to express.

Studio, on location or both? I had the chance to shoot in studios but certainly I prefer to shoot on location.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid pr ofessional? At the moment I’m a hobbyist but who knows! It would be fantastic to become a paid professional .
What has been your most memorable session and why? My best session was certainly the one with Valenti na, a woman from Rome who would have become a special f riend for me. We did a lot session with her and we create a strong understanding.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? My camera is a Canon 5D Mark III. I prefer 85 mm l en but I gladly use 35mm and 50 mm one. I certainly like to use analog camer a thanks to my father ’s passion.
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own busi ness? My advice is to find your style from famous photogr aphers and hard work. Might give yourself time to l earn techniques and tr y and retr y again to shot. One of the best phrases ispired me is “ The first 10.000 s hots will be your worst ” from Henri Cartier-Bresson
