Acknowledgment It is good to have an End to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end. My journey in the architecture was nothing but full of moments of ups and downs, a lot of happiness, and a joyful life experience that will ever stay in my memory. I would like to express my special thanks my Professor Dr boziad who gave me the golden Opportunity to do this wonderful project of Sport Centre, and he has my sincere gratitude for everything he has taught me along the way. I would like to also thank eng niveen and eng adrees, they was able to stick around and constantly giving me all the motivation I needed. However, no gratitude is enough to thank my lovely family, the were the most important part of this long journey, both my parents who gave everything they have for me to reach where I am today, also my brother Eng. ibrahem najjar who was the person I always looked up to, who supported me along the way. I am truly and deeply indebted to many others, I wish to acknowledge them all. Thanks to everyone who without them I would not have been able to make it.

Why sport center ? In 2030 vision the human comfort and life style will achieve our goals and before changing the surrounding we should change our self and our life style today everything much easier and normal person will rarely move cars everywhere walking is much harder than before From my perspective I find the sport is an important element to achieve our goals and our vision but the thing that people these days do sport as something they most do it and forced to do. So as an architect we should help and aim to do it in a pleasant way and with enjoyment in order to do that we should design and think about how we can let people enjoy sport and enjoy in every move they do in smart way without let them feel that its like homework but as a way to relax after work pressure and city life. In my sport center its not about only sport its enjoyment for kids ,youth and all Segments of society. After some analysis and from Ajman vision I I concluded that we don’t have such an project here in Ajman or Umm al Quwain Sport mean move and moving Generates electricity I will use this as an advantage to save energy and save our plant as I mentioned before how I would do this: the Jogging while playing football all this energy that people consume we can use it.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xliPAZJAVcY)

SPORT Sport includes all forms of competitive physical activity or games which,[1] through casual or organised participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing enjoyment to participants, and in some cases, entertainment for spectators.[2] Hundreds of sports exist, from those between single contestants, to those with hundreds of simultaneous participants, either in teams or competing as individuals. In certain sports such as racing, many contestants may compete, simultaneously or consecutively, with one winner; in others, the contest (a match) is between two sides, each attempting to exceed the other. Some sports allow a “tie” or “draw”, in which there is no single winner; others provide tie-breaking methods to ensure one winner and one loser. A number of contests may be arranged in a tournament producing a champion. Many sports leagues make an annual champion by arranging games in a regular sports season, followed in some cases by playoffs. (ScienceDaily)
A Brief History of Sports The documented history of sports goes back at least 3,000 years. In the beginning, sports often involved the preparation for war or training as a hunter, which explains why so many early games involved the throwing of spears, stakes, and rocks, and sparring one-on-one with opponents. With the first Olympic Games in 776 BC—which included events such as foot and chariot races, wrestling, jumping, and discus and javelin throwing—the Ancient Greeks introduced formal sports to the world. The following by no means exhaustive list takes a look at the beginnings and evolution of some of today’s most popular sporting pastimes.

Cricket: The game of cricket originated in south-east England sometime in the late 16th century. By the 18th century, it had become the national sport, making inroads globally in the 19th and 20th centuries. Baseball: Alexander Cartwright (1820-1892) of New York invented the baseball field as we know it in 1845. Cartwright and the members of his New York Knickerbocker Base Ball Clubdevised the first rules and regulations that became the accepted standard for the modern game of baseball.

Rugby: The origins of rugby can be traced back over 2000 years to a Roman game called harpastum (from the Greek for “seize”). Unlike soccer, in which the ball was propelled by means of the foot, in this game, it was also carried in the hands. The game made its modern debut in 1749 at a newly built school in Rugby in Warwickshire, England, which boasted “every accommodation that could be required for the exercise of young https://www.skysports.com/rugby-union gentlemen. Hockey :The origin of ice hockey is unknown; however, ice hockey probably evolved from the game of field hockey that has been played in Northern Europe for centuries. The rules of modern ice hockey were devised by Canadian James Creighton. In 1875, the first game of ice hockey with Creighton’s rules was played in Montreal, Canada. This first organized indoor game was played at Victoria Skating Rink between two nine-player teams, including James Creighton and several other McGill University students. Instead of a ball or “bung,” the game featured a flat circular piece of wood. https://thehockeywriters.com/ Tennis: Games using some form of ball and racquet have been played in numerous civilizations dating back as far as Neolithic times. Ruins in Mesoamerica indicate a particularly important place for ball games in several cultures. There’s also evidence that ancient Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians played some version of a game that resembled tennis. However, court tennis—also called “real tennis” and “royal tennis” in Great Britain and Australia—owes its beginnings to a game enjoyed by French monks that can be traced back to the 11th century. Sports architecture
Stadia are special buildings. They are only structures designed to bring whole communities together so that they can interact with each other and as one with the event. We gather inside them to celebrate a unique experience. Yet so often the buildings themselves are dull and uninteresting. Sometimes they lack even the most basic of amenities and can be so bleak and unfriendly as to be almost frightening . The good news however is that these outdated inhospitable concrete bowls of the twentith century are gradually disappearing
typical sport center with brick material reflect the culture of the area https://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/ old chronicle sport center
A new generation of stadia is in the imporvment in design, a catering, safety or comfort in the new sporting complexes. Sport is becoming a philosophy of life. Sport architecture is today increasingly seen as a commercial symbol, reflecting a growing culture of mainly media-induced grandeur. Consequently, structures built for international sports events are effectively the largest ‘theatre buildings’ of our times. A contrary trend in sport architecture is represented by complex volumes constructed in an elegant and yet economical way. Partly functionally severe with reduced forms, partly playful, and often timeless, sports buildings of this type feature increasingly flexible structural features such as retractable roofs. source(Peter Sturzebecher)

Saint-Laurent Sports Complex
MONTREAL, CANADA Area: 14300.0 m2 Year: 2017
The sculptural nature of the new complex creates a visual connection between the park to the north of the site and a planned grass zone along a nearby boulevard.
SITE PLAN The expressive cubes of the Saint-Laurent Sport Complex are located between an existing school and a skating rink. The two volumes are described as “neutral in characte, the new building’s architects. A striking shape was decisive, however, for the design of the new sport complex, which is to form a visual link between the Marcel Laurin Park to the north and a planned green zone along nearby Thimens Boulevard.
The site and project layout The chosen location, on civic axis of Thimens Boulevard, near the Parc Marcel-Laurin and near his wooded, is a good opportunity for dialogue between the urban and the natural and this potential should be exploited. The civic role, school and recreation in this area should be inforced.A Two volumes – one of them higher, white and diaphanous, the other dark and stretched horizontally – contain all the functions of the complex, including a swimming pool, a partitionable indoor football pitch and rooms for further kinds of sports.

SAN WAYAO SPORTS CENTER More than a sports facility, this project grew from the need of a communal center for its neighborhood of all ages. This public recreational center houses a swimming pool, fitness center, tennis court, basketball court, squash court, ping pong table, billiards table, gate ball court, outdoor fitness center, and playground for kids. In terms of the architectural massing, the dominant sloping shape allows a walkable sloping continuous roof to exist with big steps underneath that both serves as seating and a path. The sloping lawn portions on either side is where people can casually gather and enjoy outdoor activities such as yoga.

Ajman map Ajman United Arab Emirates, the fifth and smallest area. Ruled by Sheikh HumaidGoogle bin Rashid
Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince and Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. Located between the emirate of Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain. Geography Emirate of Ajman, has an area of 215 km 2 while the total area, including areas of the territorial waters of 355 km 2 and is the coastal section of the city and 26 km along the coast of the Arabian Gulf.. Ajman is composed of three regions far apart and different in terms of topography
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupies an area of 83,600 sq km along the south-eastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula. Qatar lies to the west, Saudi Arabia to the south and west, and Oman to the north and east. The capital and the largest city of the federation, Abu Dhabi, is located in the emirate of the same name.
The selection of the zone depends on the following criteria: Ajman vison 2030 Accessibility Transportation Government Policy Density Pollution Surroinding area These factors also affect plot selection as well as other factors that I will talk about.
Tourism and Rehabilitation Center (city center) entertainment center Municipal perecint (residential heart) Commercial Center (Light & Heavy Industries) Healthcare Center (UAE Housing) Local shopping center (accommodation for expatriates) Rural farms(Eastern sector)
According to Ajman 2030 vision, the emirate is divided into several activities, as can be seen in the Ajman land use As for the sports center there will be specific places that cannot be placed within the industrial or logistic area, this is incompatible with the basic principles of seeing Ajman 2030, as after a detailed study of the land used I reached that best location for such a project
Tourism and Rehabilitation Center (city center) entertainment center Rural farms(Eastern sector)
Ajman population and population density according to Ajman Vision 2030 As the high population density will be in the Old City area, as for al zorah area, it will have a small population compared to the rest of Ajman The middle section contains medium density
zorah(entertainment hub) The Zorah Sector consists of the mixed use Al Zorah development which is currently undergoing its first phase of construction. Al Zorah is a major upcoming project for Ajman City. the population of zorah
The Al Zorah development mixed use land is by far the largest land use to accommodate growth by 2030. This land use is currently classified as Mixed Use – Special Projects, until all of Zorah’s development becomes integrated into the land use classification and the land subdivision is completed.(ajman vision 2030)

CHAPTER 05: Conclusion
The idea of the project is to encourage sport in these days with the increase in civilizational and technical development. Sports in our societies need more encouragement to practice for its physical and psychological benefits and also for the safety of generations. When preserving the body this means preserving the life system which leads to maintaining a healthy society Flawless In my sports center, which was designed according to Ajman Vision 2030, technology and sport will be combined so that contemporary and well-known sports in our societies are available to all segments of society with the highest possible standards of protection and sustainability Which will be a beautiful architectural edifice that complements the culture of the people of the United Arab Emirates and in line with the vision of Ajman
Concept 1-`Distributing the various activities around the site surroundings and dividing the areas according to their colors
2- Take advantage of the external space of the site by making the building Vertical to make use of external area for out door area and landscape
SWIMMING POOLS
SMALL SPORT HALLS

ADMINISTRATION,LOBBY
SERVICES
3-Using the swimming pool mass to provide shading for the outdoor area and to give nice view for the people
4-Instead of using services as floors, replace them with a kind of cover and distribute activities in a way to give the building a modern look
THE TOTAL BUILT MASS
Final site selection According to Ajman vision, Al-zorah will be an entertainment residential area and the presence of the sports center in it will give a nice gesture to the residents to live in and invest in it. Site B has been chosen for the quality of the site, ease of access and proximity to the sea, which will allow more activities that will encourage visitors not only from the Emirate of Ajman, but also from some neighboring Emirates.
