The Education of girls in India
Date
November 7th, 2014.
I have obviously learnt some new information about girls’ education in India. The video was interesting and full of info, culture, lessons, and wisdom. Videos like this that show the hardships that many children go through in other countries to get an education, will make our students cherich and value the chances they are granted to be educated.
I liked how students were motivated and excited to participate in the activity. I noticed also that the activity was about a theme that is included in the syllabus (Education) and students were able to connect their learning about education to other cultures such as that of India. The accompanying questions and discussions were rich and fruitful, and students had a great chance to express themselves a great deal.
I was positively affected, and at the end of the activity, I felt this urgent need to do something similar with my students, because I simply loved it. Being a new teacher, I need ideas for extra-curricular activities, and so I am glad I attended, for I have learnt some new good things.
What do you I don’t think I have much to say in this regard. The activity was well planned and well carried. suggest to change in the activity?
Any further remarks?
Being a former student of Mr. Bakkas, I see how much progress has been made concerning the English club’s activities. I am sure the progress will keep on going to provide students with the best learning opportunities.

The activity was an opportunity for students to test and improve their spelling skills and acquire new vocabularies. It also helped in developing their self-confidence, communication and public speaking skills.
Being the pronouncer, I noticed that the students I taught/teach were more familiar with my English. Some of their comments had to do with their inability to understand the other teachers’ different accents and How were you speaking pace. Yet, they mentioned that some of the participants were affected by not satisfied with their result and they blamed me for that, even though I the activity? just used the phonetic transcription provided. For more objectivity in the competition, I think that some sort of a pronunciation machine should be used.
How was your Students who took part in the activity had fun and learning was school memorable for them. When they told the other students about that, I affected by noticed their regret and will to compete in the years to come. the activity? What do you suggest to I think there should be a spelling bee for every class. Then, the winners make the can compete together. activity more beneficial &informative?
Any further remarks?
The examples provided in the words to spell sheets contain idiomatic expressions, or highlight a meaning that students are not at all familiar with.

The activity is very beneficial for the students because it helps them to boost their self confidence also it helps them to learn and memorize new words. In addition to that, students may gain greater knowledge about how the word should be pronounced and whether it is a noun verb or adjective …
I was really impressed by the students’ sense of competition and to How were you what extent they were eager to win. affected by the activity?
How was your school I guess that the school may have gained a good reputation especially affected by that the students of last year did well in the national competition the activity? What do you suggest to I think that the activity needs more advertisement so as to attract make the students attention activity more beneficial &informative?
Any further remarks?
It would be good if we could organize extra classes for students who are really interested in spelling because doing so may help them to do better in the regional or national competition.
