Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine Organization’s Identity “Faculty of medicine” In 1947 The Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University was called the Medical College Demardash and was affiliated with the University Fuad I (Cairo University now), and then annexed to the Ain Shams University in 1950 to be the third medical school in Egypt. The University of Ain Shams is a comprehensive academic institution with a distinctive learning style and a global vision. It is a pioneer in academic, scientific research and the arts in Egypt, Africa, and Middle East. The Faculty of Medicine has got the NAQAAE accreditation in September 2013 and got 3 stars in QS international scoring in April 2015.

About Misr Conference ( Steps For Health) In the frame of mutual cooperation between the universities and the scientific organizations we will hold our 1st Medical Integrated Students’ Research (MISR) Conference From 31 October 2015 to 2 November 2015 in Cairo, Egypt. - A group of great scientists will attend this conference as well as delegations from different Arab countries as it is the first of its kind to excrete student competencies in the field of scientific research and training. - Our students from the faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing Governmental and private universities all over Egypt and in other countries are invited to participate in the conference. In addition students are invited to participate in a contest for drawing and other cultural and artistic activities. - Many presentations and posters will be presented. Different workshops will be made in different topics. - To encourage our students to participate in the conference a young investigators' award has been established in association with the conference. Winners of oral and poster presentations will win valuable prizes.
