TEAM SHIP The Trainnovation Team-Ship Program consists of three specifically designed activities that aim to bring out the best in your team, group or employees. These activities were designed to focus on leadership, Team Integration, Communication and Collaboration. They are all unique, a lot of fun and are proven to gain positive results.

City Build BRIEF
HOW IT WORKS
City Build reflects the true challenges of architects and town planners the world over. The aim of this team building event is for the group to construct a giant model city that relies on creativity but also strong planning and discipline within the design and build teams. This is also a great opportunity for everyone in a team to collaborate, demonstrating that teams within teams pull together towards one common goal.
Teams are given sections of a model city to build, one each of 4 zones – industrial, residential, leisure and business. The teams collaborate to develop a plan for the city ensuring there is uniformity of design across the zones and that roads, rivers, etc. flow coherently with the other teams’ sections next to theirs and in the city as a whole. Using wide-ranging materials, they build an imaginative and creative city that is functional and aesthetically pleasing. When the time is up, teams join the sections of the city together and celebrate their success in working towards a common goal.

HOW IT WORKS
Everyone knows that every now and then it is important to step back and look at the ‘BIG PICTURE’, particularly when looking at an organization and how its people operate and communicate internally. In the Big Picture the importance of teamwork, cooperation and communication is reinforced through the process of painting an artistic masterpiece of truly epic proportions.
The Big Picture team building exercise commences with individuals joining into small teams; with each team being responsible for painting one or several individual canvases. Each canvas is small segment, which will make up the final Big Picture artwork. Teams collect brushes, paint, a diagram outlining their individual canvas and, a blank canvas. They then set about as a team to mix paints to create the right colors and paint their canvas.

HOW IT WORKS
It is an activity conducted for practicing how to put the creative sense into practice using all the tools you have. Each team has to build a high, well designed, and stable tower. In the middle of the game, the team members get different measurement in order to change their plan using the same tools coping with change. The objective of this is game to apply the change management concept reach to excellence with a creative sense powered by the teamwork.

Mega Train BRIEF
HOW IT WORKS
Using detailed construction plans; each team has to manage time and resources effectively to turn a ‘flat-pack’ kit into a giant cardboard mega train!
Once constructed teams decorate their part with “advertising” which can be aligned to reinforce your brand message or conference theme. Prizes can be awarded for the best themed bus.
With a clear understanding of the end result, teams soon realize that they need to employ excellent project management skills to complete the project on time and with limited resources. They may choose to create sub-teams breaking down the overall complex project into smaller steps and which need to be defined, delegated and communicated with each individual’s effort being essential to the final result.
The challenge concludes when teams get to connect and align their train parts to each other to complete the task “Mega Train”

Bridge BRIEF
HOW IT WORKS
The idea for this construction comes from the universal genius Leonardo Da Vinci. Around 1480, he designed a transportable bridge that could be erected without tools. Important goals in team development create stability within the group and improve the ability to bridge gaps and overcome obstacles. Let your group face this challenge! Leonardo’s Bridge will result in visible success that will promote team spirit.
The participants’ task is to construct a self-supporting bridge of 4 meters in length, using only the 28 sticks provided. No other tools may be used. After first brainstorming in smaller subgroups, all participants start constructing the bridge. The key factors for success are coordination within the group, creativity and sharing of knowledge. The result will be a self-supporting construction, which can serve as a metaphor for internal and external team stability. Another issue that can be addressed is how teams grow closer, for instance, in an intercultural environment. The participants start constructing the bridge, beginning at two ends. The bridge brings them closer together. In the end, the two parts of the bridge become one. The key factors for success are coordination, cooperation and adjustment (as regards the method of construction) between the two subgroups.

3D Pyramids BRIEF
HOW IT WORKS
In this innovative and fun team building activity, each team is supplied with equipment, tools and detailed construction plans and tasked to work together to turn a 'flat-pack' kit into a giant pyramid. Problem solving skills are required to construct a series of shapes and then form them into a pyramid - it’s like a giant 3D puzzle!
Once constructed, teams decorate their pyramid with slogans and color, which can be aligned to reinforce your brand message, conference theme or perhaps a charity of your choice. The decoration of each pyramid should work as a uniform design when joined with other segments of the pyramid.
Teams need to employ excellent time and resource management skills to complete the project on time and with limited resources. This includes communicating and collaborating, ensuring that everyone in the team has a task and is enthusiastically involved in delivering an accurate end result.
The challenge continues in a whole group rewarding collaborative team building activity, when all teams come together to construct a gigantic pyramid from each individual team's pyramid. A further dimension of complexity is added if you are attempting a team building activity for a large group of 1000+ people, however, it is more than possible and the results incredible! A great sense of achievement and oneness is developed as everyone admires the end result!

Mega Kite BRIEF Building a mega-kite is not just a workshop but this is a teambuilding workshop for large groups that really combines everything that is important for a company: LEADERSHIP, COLLABORATION & INTEGERATION. The participants first make an identical smaller kite in groups of 710 persons. This is done according to a construction manual supplied by Trainnovation. When these kites (= modules) are ready, all the kites are put together into one Mega-Kite. So, in this workshop everyone works together on one common end result - the Mega-Kite! Because there are so many people working at the same time towards one end result it means that this workshop is the ultimate teambuilding assignment for large groups!

HOW IT WORKS
Put on your seatbelts and get ready for the flight of your life!! As your group arrives at the event, you will be greeted by airplane-inspired music and sound effects. Our announcer will welcome everyone to Flugtag! (German for “Flight Day” or “Air Show”!)
Each team will be given a set of tools and materials that will be used to build their very own airplanes that will be hurled from our Flugtag device onto the tarmac. In addition to the building materials, each team will also choose an Action Figure to be used as pilots! Some planes might fly twenty or thirty feet; others might crash instantaneously! But teams will be judged on several criteria including Distance, Style and Accuracy (teams will be given a bull’s eye to place on the tarmac in anticipation of where they think their pilot will land before being hurled from the Flugtag device!)

Flat Out Afloat BRIEF The world's most innovative and exciting 'build your own boat' concept! Teams have to select a design, gather together some unlikely building materials and then combine their individual talents to build a seaworthy vessel. The proof of a job well done, takes place on a lake, pool or the open sea. Teams take to the water in a race, regatta, sea battle or full-blown adventure to recover sunken treasure.
In Flat Out Afloat, teams find out that the 'impossible' becomes very achievable when individuals collaborate and co-ordinate their efforts. They also discover that true leadership and great ideas can often come from those you least expect.

Puppet Masters creates a whole heap of fun while it challenges teams to intelligently break down a project into achievable steps. Have you ever considered how many individual actions it takes to walk? It requires extreme co-ordination as you shift your weight from one leg to the other, engaging your hips, abs, waist and back to maintain balance.
You’ve undoubtedly seen 10-meter puppets on the side-lines of football matches and parading center stage at the Olympics. Puppet Masters is your opportunity to experience the creativity and empathy required to make these giants appear human. To succeed, each team becomes a ‘nerve center’, controlling a myriad of movements to wow colleagues with an effortless performance. HOW IT WORKS
It’s a wonderful exercise that requires creativity, group problem solving, and resource management. One beautiful aspect about this activity is that it can be offered again and again over the course of a year to the same group because there is infinite number of puzzles.
The Sevengram is a math puzzle that encourages an individual or a team to solve a problem. This activity is great to use on its own, it’s also great for use alongside other activities such as our Climbing Wall or Bungee Run to enhance a team building challenge. We have two Tangrams available for hire making it great for team building, team challenges and competitions.

Sand Sculpting BRIEF
HOW IT WORKS
The Sand Sculpting program is a fun way to be creative while working together to achieve success. You are given a short lesson on sand castle building including how to use the different tools that are provided. Employees are divided into teams. Each team competes in a series of all-hands-on-deck challenges from sand-skiing to relay racing. You will then design towers and work in teams to build castles based on your team designs.
Building sand castles requires planning, patience, unity and teamwork. Practicing these skills promotes team spirit as you work hard to design and build a masterpiece. Building a winning sand castle will require the combined efforts of each and every team member. The Trainnovation’s staff works with the teams throughout the event helping to keep them on track and get real results. In order to be successful as a group, you need to communicate your way of seeing things, to listen and to coordinate. A multi-layered, fascinating story emerges, a roller coaster ride through realities. This intelligent learning project is ideally suited to starting a group process or as an energizer for any occasion.
This activity is based on the picture books “Zoom” and “Re-Zoom” by Istvan Banyai which consist of 30+ sequential per group “pictures within pictures”. The team is tasked with putting together a story from a set of sequential images. Each person is given an image but is not permitted to show it to anyone else. Together, the team has to figure out the correct sequence. The activity focuses on effective communication and conflict management & problemsolving skills.

HOW IT WORKS
In this activity, how teams can become learning systems is tangible: the team achieves excellence through developing skills together and through constant feedback on the status quo. How It’s Done. With a budget of ten L.E 1,000 tokens, the group has the task of finding the hidden path across the field. After a short planning period, the group attempts the activity in silence.
But there are traps and stumbling blocks along the way. If someone steps on the wrong square, the facilitator gives a signal. Such unavoidable errors are not sanctioned. But, if the group repeats the same mistake again, the facilitator gives the signal again and the group has to pay L.E 1,000. Through mutual support and joint learning, the group manages to develop a strategy and use up as little money as possible so that, at the end, all delegates can cross the field. The teams need to compensate for the weaknesses of individual members and silently develop a joint approach.
