Mohammad Adham is an Architect who got his bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering from MSA University and the University of Greenwich ( Double Degree ). Before graduating he worked as a part timer in ORYX Constructions as a Site Engineer. Mohamamd always intended for reaching out to diverse architecture designers coming from different design schools and cultural backgrounds while attending various workshops at different countries like Italy & Egypt. In addition, he has competed in vatious national and international competitions since he was a student where he has recieved several awards. While working as a Junior Architect in EHAF Consultants He won the 1st award prize in the National Competition “Conceptual Design of the King Salman’s University in South of Sinai” that was held in Egypt. He also won the 3rd place regionally and was from the 12 finalists internationally in the Urban revitalization of mass housing competition organised by the UN-Habitat, consequently he recieved an invitaton to present his work at the world urban forum held in Columbia. Mohammad Adham used to work as a junior landscape Architect in ECCO Design Solutions where he was responsible of the Pre Concept Design phase and the Postproduction phase that includes the renderings. Besides his professional career in EHAF Consultants, he worked as a teaching assistant specialized in the Execution design and Design courses.

The Maspero Process
As Maspero area was developed part of the historic evolution of Cairo…up to date there is a process that kept it alive…deteriorating, neglected, marginalized, driven to death…BUT so far it is surviving, fighting for its existence, and it is still alive seeking for its future. As a whole Maspero area was developed. This whole is acting part of the bigger whole of Cairo. Through generations 6 structures have been affected and developed creating the wholeness of this place, these structures are: 1- Natural Development Structure 2- Social Development Structure 3- Economic Development Structure 4- Political and legal Development Structure 5- Cultural and Information Development Structure 6- Urban Development Structure

HARAM CITY:
Haram City is expected to be like the Berlin Wall which was a barrier structure by the German Democratic Republic that completely cut off West Berlin from surrounding East Germany and from East Berlin.
CONCEPT:
ONE INTEGRATED SOCIETY (Social, Environmental, Economic). Influenced by the old Cairo streets and climate where everything was harmony connected. We designed a court yard typology for a friendly mass Connected with an Irregular pedestrains helping in creating more visual interests and good ventilation.

CONCEPT: Our aim is to provide a unique integrated living community within an exclusive, secure and unprecedented environment. As part of the process, we will consolidate TMG’s vision through a distinctive, interactive architectural product and pedestrian friendly public realm. The approach aims to accentuate sustainability through our design process to ensure user comfort in both indoor and outdoor spaces, a feature we believe will make the proposed development rise above and beyond its competition. Not only that, but establish a new standard for others to follow. Located in the heart of the New Capital City, the project location is aimed to serve the future. A future that will teleport individuals from the congested, polluted and crowded Cairo, to a much more advanced, well planned, well developed New Capital City.

Entrances acting as gateways:
A house is an individual’s safe haven. The entrance door acts a portal, shifting one’s self from all the hustle outside, to their safe haven. Translated into architecture, the front façade acts a portal, or a gateway. The entire façade is inviting, leading towards the entrance. However, the geometry and articulation defied the sense of intimidation of the ratio between the façade and the human scale. Openings, protrusions, difference materials were used to be more welcoming and inviting
Internal Gardens/ Courtyards:
Arrival Gardens:
In celebration of the arrival of guests, a series of spaces have been designed. Starting off with an arrival plaza, visitors are welcomed with hardscape and a n activity garden on the right, before going through the arrival walkway which transforms the mood from the outside environment to the inside.
Internal Courtyards serve the building, socially and environmentally. Socially, they host a space for outdoor/indoor gatherings and an extension for the indoor areas. They provide the users with a cool place to be at, an added luxury to be fond of. Environmentally, the courtyard houses are of great imminence. They aid in achieving thermal comfort through enhancing natural ventilation, with the principle of stack effect ( air movement drive by buoyancy). After air passes through interiors it heats up and starts rising, the courtyard allows for the hot air to escape, creating negative pressure and letting in the colder air.
