I • Haram Expansion in Makkah (2008)

N

May 2008 Aware of the needs of millions of pilgrims who visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia every year T to perform Hajj and Umrah, the Kingdom has decided to begin the largest ever expansion of the Haram in Makkah Al-Mukarramah with implementation of the Masa’a (Sa’y area) project, with the Masa’a area being expanded from 29,400 square metres to 87,000 square metres.OThis will mean almost three-fold increase in the number of pilgrims who will be able to perform Sa’y between the hills of Safa and Marwa. Before the expansion 44,000 pilgrims were able to perform the ritual every hour. On completion, the number is expected to rise to 118,000 pilgrims per hour. Likewise, the Masa’a area currently accommodates 42,000 people praying. This will increase to 115,600 after the Masa’a expansion.

Graduation Project – School of architecture THE CORRELATION

In 1935, three physicists, Albert Einstein, Boris Podolsky, and Nathan Rosen criticized quantum mechanics claiming that if it were a complete model of reality, then nonlocal interactions between objects had to exist. Since that was deemed inconsistent with the theory of relativity, quantum mechanics had to be either wrong or at least incomplete THIS WAS CALLED LATER

the Einstein-Podolosky-Rosen (EPR)

Into Africa – Theme park – Libya

Africa Land Theme-park, 2005 Location: Tripoli, Libya Client: Al-Ahly Real Estate Plot Area: 67200 m2 Floors: G+1 Games Supplier: Zamperla, Italy

Featuring the first Theme-park in Tripoli, Africa land defined a very important project in Tripoli oriented for raising the recreational culture for families and their children. Although it could be highly criticized as a superficial architecture, the apparent metaphor of using the geographical shape of Africa continent was intentionally used as a learning material for children who are the main user of this project. Regardless the fact that no one can see this shape -without a helicopter- It could be also seen from the brochures and pamphlets which are major for any theme-park.

Coping with the current trends of contemporary architectural of the world, and the wide spread of digital notions influencing architecture creating free forms and liberated thinking, that gave us opportunities to provide and build brilliant, extraordinary, attractive, and original ideas. approaching the most up-to-date architectural tendencies of the Fractal Architecture featuring the future of architecture in the world of office buildings. The exterior glass cladding is a mirrored fraction glass projected in the three dimensional view and articulated into a series of crystalline forms. The crystallized glass cladding is programmed to create a visual pixilation atmosphere by reflecting the surrounding environment passing through sky, greenery and landscape viewing the exterior world through the facade. In this way the building acts as a phenomenon filter affecting both vision and how it is viewed. This approach is considered an exclusive approach correlated to a very distinct office building in a very distinct place as the Smart Village. It benefits from the marvelous landscape of the context as well as the competitiveness with the surrounding building that will be reflected all over the facades. Consequently, the building will become a landmark in the urban setting of the Smart Village.
