The parent company, National Printing Press, was established in 1963. Since its inception, National Printing Press has always had a vision to lead the way in the security printing industry. With a state of the art infrastructure, high-tech printing machinery, dedicated and experienced production and sales team, a customer oriented strategy and a visionary leader in Mr. Basheer Mahmood; National Printing Press has been able to constantly innovate new products, services and solutions. As a consequence, NPP has seen consistent growth in scale and customer base, so much so that by starting with a few notable banks NPP currently caters to the security requirements of 98% of the banks and financial institutions in the U.A.E., Middle East and several others in Africa, a total of 587 branches. This includes a variety of multinational and regional clientele. Understanding the need of a back up facility to ensure uninterrupted services in case of a disaster or a natural calamity, MICR Printing Press was established in 1983. This fully equipped facility boasts the infrastructure, printing machinery and experienced personnel that match NPP’s standards on a like-for-like basis. After realizing the potential of the commercial sector, few years down the line, this facility also started serving as the mainstream commercial division. Most recently in 2010, in line with the progressive expansion strategy, JMBR group opened another state of the art printing facility in International Media Productions Zone (IMPZ), Jebel Ali. This facility includes the corporate head office of the group and boasts four times the production capacity of NPP and MICR taken together. With fully integrated operations and advanced printing machinery, the facility provides another platform to satisfy the ever-growing demand of the security and commercial printing sectors.

Our specialization in embossing, foil-stamping, die-cutting, OPV/UV Varnishing, spot UV and envelope personalization is our major strength that allows us to reproduce any sort of size, shape and complex designs customized according our customers’ requirements.
The term prepress includes all the steps that are required to transform an original into a state that is ready for reproduction by printing. At the JMBR facility we have the CTP system for plate making through which we spend significantly less time on prepress. This system eliminates the creation of negatives which was used by the CTF technology. Further it enhances sharpness and detail as an intermediary process is eliminated. This technology gives us the flexibility to reduce production time, increase the output quality and reduce cost.
Offset printing is any form of printing that uses an intermediate carrier to transfer the image from the original image-carrier (such as a plate) to the substrate. With regular state-of-the-art upgrades to its offset presses, JMBR Group uses this technology in the production of booklets, magazines, posters, boxes and other advertising materials printing. Our offset printing capability ranges up to the maximum size of 100x70 cm, 5 colour printing + varnish and thickness of 1.25mm.
With the Digital Offset presses JMBR Group offers customized commercial printing such as labelling and specialty printing. Its ability to print without films and plates enables it to create personalized short runs by changing text, images and jobs without having to stop the press. This gives JMBR Group the facility to offer short-run services to its customers at competitive prices.
Over the years JMBR Group has built a reputation to offer our customers a wealth of expertise in the manufacture of security documents that meet their specific requirements. Our speciality lies in the printing of passports, ID cards, certificates, visas, excise stamps, cheque books, post stamps, holographic scratch-off lottery tickets, government documents etc.
Gravure printing is a type of intaglio printing method which utilizes engraved cylinders or cylinder-mounted plates as the image carriers. The image areas are etched onto the surface of the cylinder as a collection of tiny cells. The paper (or other substrate) is passed between the gravure cylinder and a rubber coated impression roller, and ink is transferred by a combination of capillary action and the pressing of the substrate onto the engraved cells of the cylinder. We use this technology in the printing of flexible & packaging such type of specialty printing.
Hot Stamping is a dry printing method in which a heated die and foil are used to apply graphics to a surface. On the other hand, embossing involves the creation of three dimensional images on the paper. JMBR Group uses these technologies to add security features, such as holograms, as well to add a personalized touch for its privileged customers.
The process of lamination refers to the placing of something between layers of plastic and sealing them with heat and pressure, usually with an adhesive. Although commonly used for protection, it is increasingly being used for aesthetic reasons. At JMBR group we use a range of thermal laminators to laminate any material up to 1x2m.
Book Binding Binding is a process that involves attaching pages of a book or other publication to each other by means of staples, adhesives, thread, wire, or other means, commonly between two covers. We undertake different kinds of binding namely, perfect binding, saddle-stitch binding, spiral binding, pad making and side-pinning. Using several specialized machines, we offer cost-effective and time-critical binding solutions to various clients.
Die cutting Die-cutting is a finishing operation which involves the use of sharp steel rules or knives to cut a specific pattern into a substrate or to cut the substrate itself into a specific pattern. Die-cutting is used to create pop-up books and games, and to cut flat printed sheets into packages or boxes for later assembly. At JMBR group, we use this process to recreate all kinds of products such as carry bags, danglers, wobblers, boxes, cartons, invitation cards, brochures etc.
Delivery JMBR group has one of the most comprehensive delivery fleets in the printing industry in the U.A.E with over 40 vehicles. The consistency and efficiency of the service is noticeable in the daily delivery of cheque-books to over 500 branches in the U.A.E.
