Additive Manufacturing Resource Centre - Equipped with the newest technology, the Centre is home to two 3D printers able to turn computer generated designs into metal and plastic reality. Working with local industry the 3D Print lab will be used to test and stretch the boundaries of this exciting new technology. MEDIC Mohawk’s mHealth and eHealth Development and Innovation Centre - This a multi-purpose facility, which includes a modern collaboration space as well as state-of-the-art mobile and cloud computing equipment. MEDIC helps researchers, government institutions and industry partners apply information and communications technologies to health care. The Centre also provides skill development services, including the design and development of electronic medical records systems, mobile health applications and device integration. The Agency - Designed by the McKeil School of Business, this “living learning” experience is for students in business and communication arts programs. Students in the Agency work with real community and College clients to provide business and media solutions.
Aviation Technology - Mohawk is one of a few Canadian college’s with a Boeing 727 in its training fleet that has been converted into a living lab. The jet interior features a classroom and is located at the Hamilton International Airport. The School of Aviation Technology has a fleet of 13 aircraft and one helicopter.
Digital Print Lab - The Digital Print and Learning Centre serves as a living lab for more than 160 Graphic Design students who train on specialized technology, including digital printing presses, packaging design and finishing equipment. Students work on class and college projects to produce specialty items and packaging design products.
Justice & Wellness - This area features new collaborative spaces, laboratories and classrooms, and training areas for programs such as Police Foundations and Recreation. Students gain advantage from a range of experiential facilities like our mock police car streetscape, training gym and court room.
David Braley Athletic & Recreation Centre - Discover the state-of-the-art 65,000 square foot facility. Our triple gymnasium allows plenty of opportunity for pick-up basketball, volleyball or badminton and is a great home venue for our varsity sports teams. You’ll also find a breathtaking (literally!) range of classes and group fitness activities scheduled to help inspire you to jump in. Enjoy a boost drink from Booster Juice. Gerald Marshall Centre for Transportation - This Transportation Centre at the Stoney Creek Campus provides students in the College’s Truck and Coach Technician and Truck/Trailer Service Technician apprenticeship programs with hands-on training in a state-of-the-art truck shop that accommodates up to three full-size tractor trailers.
