Natural small Lakes

NATURAL LAKE Few natural lakes, in the area of the Molise Montagnola there are various karst phenomena formed following the washout of the mountain. The Lake of Civitanova or San Lorenzo is produced inside the uvala of the same name mentioned, usually in November, and it remains until March, creating a veil of water high on average 1 m., covering 5 hectares of surface (exceptionally the water rises to 2 m.: it invades 8 hectares), a veil on which it is possible to make exciting canoe excursions.
