On campus, I was an active member of the ASID Student Chapter. In addition to these activities, I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the second year Interior Design Studio. I started my design career as an intern with HKS Inc. in their Corporate and Commercial Interiors studio. After graduation, I made the move to Baltimore, MD and started my professional career with Gensler where I worked on a number of workplace and govermment projects. In my time at Gensler, I had the opportunity to participate fully along side a team of skilled designers on multiple projects from concept development through construction administration. With the majority of my experience being in the Workplace sector, I am eager to broaden my experience to other sectors which may include Hospitality, Multi - Family and Sustainable Design. Outside of design, I am furthering my knowledge by studying to prepare for the LEED GA Exam as well as finding new creative outlets and passions such as painting, drawing and photography.

APL provides critical contributions to critical challenges through innovation, creative thinking, and the ability to translate ideas into technical effective solutions. These solutions are not possible without the services provided by the organizations that will come together in MP8. The physical space should reflect this connectivity and lab wide impact and create a variety of spacial experiences to elevate the work environment and enhance employee experience. Strategic application of COLOR, LINE, AND PATTERN to energize active amenity and collaborative areas of the workplace. Application scales down and transitions from these spaces to the focused zones of the workplace.

THRESHOLDS a series of sequential thresholds separating the programatic functions of the site: city and hearth.
HEARTH rooted in the center of the site, a monolithic building set into the ground acts as a hearth for Tri Cycle Farms. This building is home to community gathering spaces and stands as the headquarters for the non- profit organization.
DOGTROT VERNACULAR
has been analyzed into a set of constituent parts and has been adopted for its climatic factors. This way of building provides a multitude of opportunities for passive environmental control, while also helping the building be more efficient. The ideas of the dogtrot have served as the starting blocks for the architecture on site: multiple pens split by a breezeway, a common roof, front porch, and raised foundation.
MATERIALS
for this project include the use of native stone and local lumber, which reinforces the idea of vernacular place based architecture. To meet LBC requirements the architecture should be of its place, only use materials locally sourced and designed according to the particulars of the site and culture.
