Interaction, Diversity and Transformation — Color and Culture applied on interiors as inspired by great Architects and Interior Designers

Museum Design Objective:

Process 1:Researching

Making an abstracted model of the existing space(s) and forms out of architect/designer’s projects. This space will be used ultimately for an exhibition of the architect/designer’s work. The interpretation of space will use interior design elements, such as floor, walls, columns, ceiling, and other fundamentals of spatial design inspired by your architect/designer.

Kitchen

29 Locust Hills Residence

The kitchen design is based on a basic Japanese color concept which cooperate claret with Black. In addition, some traditional Japanese materials are involved in, such as Japanese Cherry wood to keep its organic looking. In order to avoid a conflict with main tone, I chose wall tiles and floor tiles both with light color.
