“Monday” - a Journal of Poetry, Prose and Art was first created in 1999 in San Francisco, California. The idea came from weekly Monday poetry reading at the back room of “Covered Wagon Saloon” located in SOMA district. This issue was to be released in the Fall, 2000 but was never published. Monday, Fall 2000 represents a literary time capsule. It was not available to the readers for almost 20 years! It contains the original poetry, prose and visual art submissions by 45 San Francisco writers and artists. This issue represents the best example of underground San Francisco poetry of late 90's -early 2000's and contains writings of Stephen Elliot, Jane 69 aka Adrienne St. John, Vlad Pogorelov, Eric Robertson, Kenneth MacKillop aka Kenne The King of Mystical Scotland, James La Croix Jr, Bruce Jackson, Monique Marquisa De Magdalena, Mike Boner, J.C.
