Preface
Chinese painting is an important part and a carrier of the Chinese culture. In the history of thousands of years, it has been bearing the Chinese nation’s unique esthetical consciousness and spiritual values. Hubei area has a long and rich history of its own cultural characteristics and styles. Its Chinese painting is outstanding in both ancient and modern times. Renowned artists like Mi Fei, Wu Wei, and Cheng Zhengkui were prominent in the history of Chinese painting and for the past century, Hubei’s Chinese painting also has a high reputation and popularity, exhibiting the exuberant vitality of the region’s profound cultural heritage. The advantage of Hubei as an open “transport hub” and an inclusive “humanistic highland” facilitates innovation and breakthroughs in Hubei’s Chinese painting. Inspired by China’s reform and opening-up campaign during the 20th century, a large group of senior artists produced many high quality works celebrated in the circle of contemporary art. And since the new century, a large number of middle-aged and young artists from Hubei have emerged and boasted their excellence in China. In the situation of prosperous and diversified innovation in Chinese painting, Hubei’s artists, based on tradition and endeavoring to carry forward Chinese and regional characteristics, have made brilliant achievement with their own distinctive styles. Self-conscious and self-confident, Hubei’s Chinese painting, rooted in its homeland, has gradually found an artistic road that belongs to itself, a road of language expansion and self-perfection. Many of the local Chinese painting artists have demonstrated their distinctive personal artistic styles. The participants in this exhibition have advanced the artistic ontology and optimized painting styles and all they have done is absolutely out of their conscious choice after serious deliberation. Hubei Invitation Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Paintings is a collection of 100 paintings recently created by 20 artists, those depicting figures, landscapes, and flowers-and-birds. Different in themes and skills, all the paintings are filled with their creators’ passion and reflect Hubei Chinese paintings’ progress in both inheriting the tradition and attempting new breakthroughs. They represent new achievements on a new level and are a collective presentation of Hubei Chinese paintings’ creative spirit and artistic quality. This exhibition is a high level and high quality exhibition that will certainly entertain the audience with a rich and diversified experience of art.

The prosperity of Chinese painting in Hubei and Wuhan is reflected in a high appreciative demand for artistic products by a large audience as well as in the communication among artists and between artists and the society. Through showcasing Hubei artists’ products, Hubei Invitation Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Paintings serves as a platform for a dialogue between the artists and the society and between the artists and the audience. It is expected that this exhibition will play a positive role in enhancing Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone’s soft power and the competence of the industrial workers and the citizens in this district in esthetical understanding, appreciation, and creation. At the symposium on literary and art work, Secretary General Mr. Xi Jinping points out, “To promote the prosperity and development of literature and art, the most fundamental is to produce high quality works worthy of our great nation and the great times.” The expectation for good works is a pressing demand from the people for the development of the art career. At the time when Hubei and Wuhan are speeding up the construction of a strategic pivot for the rise of central China and when the Wuhan Development Zone is further pushing the implementing of its city-industry integration strategy, the opening of the Hubei Invitation Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Paintings co-sponsored by Hubei Artists Association and Tanghu Art Gallery and the publication of this collection of paintings is surely an important act to implement the spirit of the Party’s 18th national congress and to promote a great cultural development and prosperity. Secretary General Xi’s speech at the symposium has set sail for a new journey targeted at a grand development and prosperity of China’s literature and art. The creation of the Chinese paintings is actually historical and cultural inheritance, a history and culture of the national ethos and humanistic pursuit. In the background of a diversified material and cultural world, and in the grand context of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we should carry forward our cultural heritage and keep abreast with the times; we should produce best works of art with our talented colors and skills to present a splendid picture of our flourishing art; and we should work together to realize the China dream.

张善平 1928 年 11 月出生，河北沧州人。 擅长油画、中国画。 1952 年毕业于中南文艺学院美术系，1963 年在中央美术学院进修油 画。历任武汉市美协展览部主任，武汉市美术家协会主席，武汉市 美协名誉主席，中国美术家协会湖北分会副主席，湖北书画院副院 长，国家一级美术师。代表作品有《收回英租界》、《神农迷雾》、《有 余图》等。出版有《醉山张画选》、《中国当代画家丛书·张善平卷》、 《醉山张评论文集》等多部专集。
Born in Nov. 1928 from Changzhou, Hebei Province. Graduated from Department of Art at Zhongnan College of Literature and Art in 1952, further trained in oil painting at China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1963, and skilled in oil and Chinese painting. Positions taken: Director of Exhibition Department at Wuhan Artists’ Association; Chairman of Wuhan Artists’ Association; Honorary Chairman of Wuhan Artists’ Association; Vice Chairman of Hubei Branch, China Artists’ Association; Deputy Dean of Hubei Painting and Calligraphy Academy. Mr. Zhang is an A-level Artist and his works include: Return of the British Concession, Misty Shennong, and Fish. His publications include Collection of Zuishan Zhang’s Paintings, Zhang Shanping – Series of Contemporary Chinese Painters, and Zuishan Zhang’s essays.

1929 年 10 月出生于山东荣成。先后担任湖北省美协副主席兼秘书长、湖北省美术院院长、 湖北省文联党组书记、湖北省文联主席、中国文联委员，现任湖北省文联名誉主席、湖北省美协 名誉主席、湖北省中华民族文化促进会主席、中国美协理事、中国画研究院院委，受聘中国科学 技术大学、华中科技大学、湖北美术学院和日本名古屋艺术大学等多所院校客座教授。曾任中共 湖北省委委员，中共十三大、十五大代表。 曾因举办“大河寻源”、“梦溯仰韶”、“汉唐雄风”、“荆楚狂歌”、“’ 77 抒怀”、“黄河·长 江·大海”画展和发表“全方位观照论”、“横向移植与隔代遗传论”等为世人所注目。曾获屈 原文艺创作奖、文艺明星奖等多种奖项。2008 年获湖北省人民政府授予“终身成就艺术家”称号。 2010 年获第四届 AAC 艺术中国 2009 年度艺术家大奖。2012 年荣获美术报 2012 年度人物大奖。 是气势派的开宗创派者与理论建树者。系国家一级美术师，享受国务院特殊津贴。

Currently: Honorary Chairman of Hubei Federation of Literary and Art Circles; Honorary Chairman of Hubei Artists’ Association; Chairman of Hubei Chinese Culture Promotion Society; Director of China Artists’ Association; Council Member of Chinese Painting Academy; Guest Professor of University of Science and Technology of China, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hubei College of Art, Nagoya University Of Arts (Japan). Also formerly: Member of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee; Delegate to the 13th and 15th National Congress of the CPC. Major exhibitions: Source of the River; Dream of Yangshao; Dynamic Han and Tang; Ode to the Jing and Chu; Lyrics of a 77-year-old Man; Yellow River – Yangtze River – Oceans. Major publications: On Omnivorous Observer; Horizontal transplantation and Atavistic Heredity. Awards include：Qu Yuan Literary Award，Art Star Award，“Life-time Achievement Artist” title awarded by Hubei Provincial Government in 2008, the 4th AAC (2009) Artist in 2010, Person of the Year (2012) named by China Art Weekly. 陈立言 Chen Liyan
1940 年 6 月生，籍贯湖南长沙。历任湖北省美术院院长，湖北省美协副主席，黄鹤南楼画社 社长，组建湖北省中国画学会，任荣誉会长，中国画学会理事，中央文史馆书画院研究员，武汉 市人民政府文史馆员。1959 年至 1964 年就读于湖北艺术学院期间，创作中国画作《给军属拜年》、 《喜看孙儿上学堂》、《送信》、《引路灯》参加省市美展。1965 年中国画《秋忙》参加“首届 全国美术院校毕业生作品联展”、“第四届全国美展”和“中国现代画展”出国展，广获好评， 一举成名。1973 年，中国画《新仓》入选“全国中国画、连环画展”。1984 年创作《莽莽中原 逐鹿时》参加第六届全国美展。 2002 年以来，集中精力投入创作、编辑、出版《中国历代文星图赞》106 幅历史人物画和《吉 祥花语》99 幅花鸟画。2010 年将两部画作组合为《画境文心——陈立言画作专题展》在中国美 术馆展出。2014 年元月获中共湖北省委组织部授予的湖北“文化名家”称号。
Born in June 1940 from Changsha, Hunan Province, Mr. Chen has been in positions that include: Dean of Hubei Academy of Art; Vice Chairman of Hubei Artists’ Association; Head of the Yellow Crane Nanlou Academy of Art; Founder and Honorary Chairman of Hubei Chinese Painting Society; Director of Chinese Painting Society; Researcher of Art Department, Central Research Institute of Culture and History; Member of Wuhan Municipal Research Institute of Culture and History. During 1959-1964 when he was studying at Hubei College of Art, Mr. Chen created Happy New Year to Army Men’s Families, Grandson Going to School, Delivering Letters, and Lighting the Road for provincial and municipal exhibitions. “Busy Autumn”, his master piece in 1965, participated in the First National Exhibition for Graduate from Colleges of Art, the Fourth National Exhibition of Art, Exhibition of Modern Chinese Art, and overseas exhibitions. In 1973, his Chinese painting “New Warehouse” was admitted into the National Chinese Painting and Pictorial Stories Exhibition. In 1984, his Fighting on the Vast Central Plains participated in the Sixth National Exhibition of Art. Since 2002, Mr. Chen has dedicated himself to the creation, compiling, and publishing of A Pictorial Ode to Literary Masters in Chinese History comprising 106 figure paintings and Auspicious Flowers comprising 99 paintings of flowers and birds. In 2010, he put the two collections together and presented an exhibition entitled “Culture in Paintings – A Special Theme Exhibition of Chen Liyan”. In January 2014, Mr. Chen was named a Hubei’s “Cultural Master” by the Organization Department of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee.

刘一原 Liu Yiyuan
1942 年 7 月生于武汉市。湖北美术学院中国画系教授，武汉市人民政府文史研究馆馆员。 17 岁即以绘制中国古代绘画为职业。1979 年考取湖北美术学院中国画专业研究生，毕业后留 校执教山水画和花鸟画，并从事现代水墨艺术的探索与研究。现潜心致力于“心象风景”水 墨创作。 1992 年法国卡斯特尔（Castres）市政府出资邀请赴法举办画展和讲学。1998 年 10 月北 京国际艺苑美术馆举办“心象风景——刘一原水墨艺术展”。2003 年 4 月湖北美术学院美术 馆举办“刘一原心象水墨展”。2008 年 10 月中国美术馆举办“刘一原心象风景展”。2010 年 11 月武汉美术馆举办“水墨伸延——刘一原作品展”。2012 年 3 月上海美术馆举办“一 原心象——刘一原现代水墨艺术展”。2012 年 9 月北京今日美术馆举办“感时心象——刘一 原现代水墨艺术展”。2013 年 12 月湖北省博物馆举办“笔走风云——刘一原山水花鸟作品 回望展”。
Mr. Liu Yi Yuan, born in Wuhan in July 1942, is a professor at the Department of Chinese Painting of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and a member of Wuhan Municipal Research Institute of Culture and History. He started his ancient Chinese painting as his career when he was only 17. in 1979, he was admitted as a post-graduate into the Chinese painting program at Hubei Institude of Fine Arts and after completing the program he was employed by the same institute to teach landscape painting and flower-bird painting. While teaching he did research on art of Chinese ink and was dedicated to the creation of “mental imagery landscape”. In 1992, the government of Castres City, France, invited and sponsored him to teach and exhibit his art in France. In October 1998 at Beijing International Art Gallery, he had his personal exhibition “Mental Imagery Landscape – Liu Yiyuan’s Ink Paintings”. In April 2003, at the Gallery of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, he had his “Liu Yiyuan’s Imagery Ink Painting Exhibition”, and in October 2008 at National Art Museum of China he gave an Exhibition of Liu Yiyuan Imagery Landscape”. Other exhibitions include: Extension of Ink – Liu Yiyuan’s Paintings, Wuhan Art Museum of Art, November 2010; Yiyuan Mental Imagery – Liu Yiyuan’s Modern Ink Paintings, Shanghai Museum of Art, March 2012; Instantaneous Mental Imagery – Liu Yiyuan modern Ink Paintings, Beijing Today Gallery, September 2012; and Retrospective Exhibition of Liu Yiyuan’s Landscape and Flower-bird Paintings, Hubei Museum, December 2013. 20

李国俊 Li Guojun
1942 年 8 月生于湖北武汉。自幼受家庭熏陶学习书法绘画。十 余岁从师著名画家闻钧天先生，学习传统中国绘画。1979 年调入武 汉市文联，从事专职美术工作；1985 年转入武汉画院任专业画家， 从事专业美术创作。 曾任美协湖北分会花鸟画研究会副会长兼秘书长、武汉市中国画 研究会副会长、武汉市青年美术家协会第一届常务副主席、第二届 主席、第三届名誉主席。现任武汉长江书画院院长。
Born in Wuhan, Hubei Province in August 1942, Mr. Li Guojun was greatly influenced by his family members and started learning painting and calligraphy when he was a child, and when he was only ten years old, he began learning traditional Chinese painting under the guidance of renowned artist Mr. Wen Juntian. In 1979, he was transferred to Wuhan Federation of Literary and Art Circles to do art-related work; in 1985, he started to work as a professional artist at Wuhan Academy of Art. Positions held include: Vice Chairman and Secretary General of flowerbird painting institute, Hubei Branch, Chinese Artists’ Association; Vice Chairman of Wuhan Chinese Painting Institute; Executive Vice Chairman (first term), Chairman (second term), Honorary Chairman (third term) of Wuhan Young Artists’ Association. Currently: Head of Wuhan Changjiang Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.

1946 年出生于上海，祖籍江苏武进。中国美术家协会会员，国家一级美术师， 中国画学会常务理事，湖北省中国画学会会长，文化部中国国际书画研究会理事， 中央文史馆书画院研究员，中国人民对外友好协会艺术创作院艺委会主任，中国人 民大学特聘教授，武汉理工大学博导，湖北省文史馆馆员，曾任湖北美术馆馆长。 曾受中国美协委托为中南海、国务院、中宣部等重要国事活动场所创作巨幅长 江山水画。他的作品多次参加全国重要美术展览。2006 年完成《施江城长江万里 图卷》。2009 年主持创作的《高峡平湖图（三峡大坝合龙）》通过“国家重大历 史题材美术创作工程”终审，为文化部收藏。2011 年同名画作为国家博物馆收藏。
Mr. Shi Jiangcheng was born in Shanghai in 1946; his hometown is Wujin, Jiangsu Province. Authorized by Chinese Artists’ Association, Mr. Shi created Yangtze River landscape paintings for Zhongnanhai, the State Council, the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, and other sites for important state activities. His works have been selected to participate in many influential national exhibitions. In 2006, he completed his extra-long painting The Grand Yangtze River. The painting that he was responsible for Smooth Lake Emerges in Narrow Gorges (in celebration of the Three Gorges Dam Closure) successfully passed the appraisal in 2009 by the “Art Project of State Important Historical Themes” and was collected by the Ministry of Culture. In 2011 his painting with the same title was collected by the National Museum of China.

孙恩道 Sun Endao
1950 年生，河南省巩县（今为巩义市）人，毕业于武汉大学中文系，结业于中国 美术学院中国画系研究生班。曾任湖北美术出版社社长、编审、编审委员会主任。现 任湖北美术院院外画师，湖北省文联委员，湖北省文史馆员，湖北省政府有突出贡献 的中青年专家，中国美术家协会会员，中国美术家协会连环画艺委会委员，湖北省美 术家协会副主席。 曾创作出版了大量连环画和工笔重彩插图。作品参加了第七届、第八届、第九届、 第十届全国美展及中国美协会员中国画精品展并获奖。1995 年后在国内外多次举办个 人画展，其作品被海内外人士广为收藏。出版有《孙恩道水墨人物》、 《当代名画家册页·孙 恩道》、 《当代名家作品集·孙恩道》、 《中国名家扇面·孙恩道作品集》、 《丹青典藏·孙 恩道卷》、《中国画名家长卷典藏·兰亭修楔图》等专集。
Born in Gongxian County (now Gongyi City), Henan Province, Mr. Sun graduated from the Chinese Department at Wuhan University and completed his post-graduate studies in the Department of Chinese Painting at China Academy of Art.. His positions and titles include: former Director, Editor, Head of Editing Committee, of Hubei Fine Arts Publishing House; Exterior Artist of Hubei Academy of Art; member of Hubei Federation of Literary and Art circles; Researcher of Hubei Research Institute of Culture and History; one of the Outstanding Middle-aged and Young Experts named by Hubei Provincial Government; member of Chinese Artists’ Association; member of the Serial Picture Art Committee, Chinese Artists’ Association; Vice Chairman of Hubei Artists’ Association. Mr. Sun has created numerous serial pictures and illustrations of find-brush work, many of which participated in and were awarded at the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th National Exhibition of Art and Exhibitions of Outstanding Paintings by Members of the Chinese Artists Association. Since 1995, he has had many personal exhibitions in China and many of his works have been collected by domestic and overseas fans. 1950 年生于南京，现为湖北省美术院国画研究室画家，国家一级美术师，中国美 术家协会会员，湖北省美术家协会理事。曾任十堰市美协主席，武当画院院长，《三 峡史诗》巨幅通景画九位创作者之一。师从周韶华先生，后就读湖北美术学院。其作 品多次入选全国美展，并有部分获奖作品。其中《除夕图》参加第六届全国美展，被 评为优秀作品，并被中国美术馆收藏。 作品参加武汉国际水墨画节，二、三、四届山水画展（获铜奖），中国山水画名 家邀请展，第十一届新人新作展，跨世纪暨建国五十周年山水画大展，中国扇面画展。 《画说世界遗产》28 巨幅作品并被国家博物馆收藏。 2000 年由人民美术出版社，辽宁美术出版社出版《张军画集》等多部专集。
Born in Nan Jing, Jiangsu Province, Mr Zhang Jun, National A-level Artist, is now holding positions as an artist at the Chinese Painting Institute of Hubei Academy of Art; member of the Chinese Artists’ Association; Director of Hubei Artists’ Association; He used to serve as Chairman of Shiyan Artists’ Association; Head of Wudang Academy of Art. He studied art under Mr. Zhu Shaohua’s tutelage and then was admitted into Hubei Institute of Fine Arts. Many of his creations were selected to participate in national exhibitions and won prizes. New Year’s Eve was awarded “Excellent work” at the 6th National Art Exhibition and was collected by National Art Museum of China. Other exhibitions include: 2nd, 3rd, 4th Landscape Painting Exhibitions at Wuhan International Ink Painting Festivals (bronze award winner); Invitation Exhibition of Renowned Chinese Landscape Painting Artists; the 11th Exhibition for Emerging Artists; the Cross-century Landscape Painting Exhibition in Celebration of the 50 th Anniversary of the Founding of the P. Mr. Zhang was one of the 9 artists who collaborated in the creation of The Epic Three Gorges and his 28 extra-sized pieces of Pictorial Illustration of World Heritages was collected by the National Museum of China. 1958 年出生于武汉，毕业于武汉江汉大学艺术系。中国美术家 协会会员，国家一级美术师，湖北省中国画艺委会委员，武汉美术 家协会副主席，武汉画院专业画家。 作品曾入选第七届、第八届、第九届、第十届全国美术展览， 第三届全国画院三年展，第二届全国中国画大展，建党 80 周年全国 美术展，日本大分市联展等。在台湾三原色艺术中心、北京 City 画 廊举办过个展。曾在美国丹佛大学美术学院、德国杜伊斯堡城市交 流计划、德国斯图加特国立美术设计学院做过访问学者，1998 年、 2000 年参加上海国际艺术博览会。1997 年被中国文联授予中国画坛 百名杰出艺术家称号。
Mr. Jiang Zhongchao was born in Wuhan, Hubei Province, in 1958. He graduated from the Department of Art at Jianghan University and is now a national A-level artist, a member of Chinese Artists’ Association, a member of Hubei Chinese Painting Art Steering Committee, Vive Chairman of Wuhan Artists’ Association, and an appointed artist at Wuhan Academy of Art. His art pieces have participated in exhibitions that include: the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th National Exhibition of Art; the 3rd National Exhibition for Institutes of Fine Arts, the 2nd National Chinese Painting Exhibition; National Exhibition of Art in Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC; a joint exhibition with Oita City, Japan; Mr. Jiang held his personal exhibitions at Taiwan Trichromatic Art Center and Beijing City Gallery. He took part in exchange programs with the Art School of Denver University in the US and with Duisburg City, Germany. He also worked in 1998 as a visiting scholar at Stuttgart Institute of Art and Design in Germany; in 2000, participated in Shanghai International Art Expo. 湖北美术学院中国画系主任、教授，中国美术家协会会员，中 国工笔画学会理事，中国重彩画研究会顾问，湖北省美术家协会中 国画艺术委员会主任，湖北省工笔画学会常务副会长。湖北省有突 出贡献中青年专家，获第五届湖北省文艺明星奖，第一届湖北省文 华美术奖。作品参加第六至九届、十一届、十二届全国美展。获“第 八届全国美展”最高奖、“第九届全国美展”优秀奖、“第四届中 国工笔画大展”银奖、“共庆澳门回归祖国·中国艺术大展”优秀奖、 “庆祝建党八十周年全国美展”最高奖。
Prof. Li Feng, Dean of the Faculty of Chinese Painting at Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, is holding the following positions: Member of Chinese Artists’ Association; Director of Academy of Chinese Gongbi Painting; consultant for Research Institute of Chinese Heavy Color Painting; Director of Chinese Painting Art Steering Committee of Hubei Artists’ Association; Executive Vice Chairman of Hubei Academy of Chinese Heavy Color Painting. He was named one of the Middle-aged and Young Artists with Outstanding Contributions, Hubei Art Star, and received the Hubei Wenhua Award. His art pieces participated in 7 National Exhibition of Arts from the 6th to the 12th except the 10th and received the highest award from the 8 th and “Excellent Work Award” from the 9 th. Other awards: Silver Award from the 4th Chinese Gongbi Painting Exhibition; Excellent Work Award from the Exhibition of Art in Celebration of the Return of Macaw; and the highest award from the National Exhibition of Art in Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC.

罗 彬 Luo Bin
1960 年生于湖北沙市， 1983 年毕业于湖北艺术学院国画专业。现为 中南民族大学美术学院教授、院长，中国美协会员，中国美协民族美术艺委 会委员，湖北美协国画艺委会秘书长，武汉美术馆学术鉴评委员会委员。自 1984 年起，作品参加了第六届、第七届、第八届、第九届全国美展及首届 中国画院双年展、第二届中国画院双年展，首届中国画大展、第二届中国画 大展，获第七届美展铜奖、文化部历史画展优秀奖等。以及上海“粉墨登场” 戏剧绘画联展、武汉至观绘馆“三人清风”联展、深圳“中华名家中国画邀 请展”、上海朱屺瞻美术馆“戏情墨韵——中国戏曲水墨画名家名作展”、 武汉美术馆“水墨文章——笔法维度”展等专题展。2013 年 12 月，武汉益 合美术馆“读戏”个展。2014 年 4 月，“意绘”中国美术馆联展。
Born in Shashi, Hubei Province in 1960, Prof. Luo Bin majored in Chinese painting and graduated from the Art Institute of Hubei. He is now the Dean of School of Art at South-Central University for Nationalities. He is also a member of Chinese Artists’ Association, member of the Ethnic Art Committee of Chinese Artists’ Association, Secretary General of Chinese Painting Art Committee of Hubei Artists’ Association, and member of the Assessment Committee of Wuhan Museum of Art. 冷 军 Leng Jun
1963 年出生于四川。1984 年毕业于武汉师范学院汉口分院体育 艺术系。现为武汉画院专业画家，中国国家画院油画院研究员，湖北 省文联 副 主 席， 湖 北 省 美 术 家 协 会 副 主 席， 武 汉 市文联副主席，武 汉美术家协会主席，武汉美术馆学术鉴评委员会主任，中国油画艺 术委员 会 委 员， 中 国 油 画 学 会 理 事， 中 国 美 术 家 协会会员，享受国 务院政府特殊津贴。1994 年作品《文物——新产品设计》获第二届 中国油画展艺术作品奖，并参加中国油画百年展。1995 年作品《世 纪风景之二》获’95 第三届中国油画年展金奖。1999 年作品《五角 星》获第九届全国美展金奖。2000 年参加“1979-1999 世纪之门邀请展”。 出版《冷军作品集》等多部画集。
Born in Sichuan Province in 1963, Mr. Leng Jun granduated from the Department of Art and Physical Education, Hankou Branch, Wuhan Normal College in 1984. He is holding the following positions: appointed artist at Wuhan Academy of Art; researcher at the Department of Oil Painting, China National Academy of Art; Vice Chairman of Hubei Federation of Literary and Art Circles; Vice Chairman of Hubei Artists’ Association; Vice Chairman of Wuhan Federation of Literary and Art Circles; Chairman of Wuhan Artists’ Association; Director of Academic Assessment Committee of Wuhan Museum of Art; member of Chinese Oil Painting Art Committee; Director of China Oil Painting Society; member of Chinese Artists’ Association; recipient of the State Council Special Allowance for Experts. In 1994, Mr. Leng’s Cultural Relic – New Product Design was awarded at the 2nd Chinese Oil Painting Ehibition and also participated in the Chinese Centennial Oil Painting Exhibition; in 1995 Centennial Scenery (2) won a gold award at the 3rd Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition; in 1999, Five-pointed Star won a gold award at the 9th National Exhibition of Art. He took part in the “1979-1999 Centennial Gate” Invitation Exhibition in 2000. He has published Collection of Leng Jun’s Art Pieces and others.

Liu Chunbing
1963 年出生于武汉，毕业于湖北美术学院中国画系，获文学硕 士学位。现任湖北省美术家协会副秘书长，国家一级美术师，中国 美术家协会会员。曾参加湖北省青年美术作品展，中国青年中国画展， 中国当代百家画扇精品展，纪念“延座”讲话 60 周年全国美展，北 京中华世纪坛“山与水”个人展、中韩美术作品邀请展、当代国画 优秀作品展等国内外重要展览，并获各种奖项，多幅作品被国内外 美术机构和私人收藏。出版《刘春冰国画作品集》、《中国当代画 家自选小辑—刘春冰山水卷》、《中国当代画家自选小辑——刘春 冰人物卷》等。
Born in in Wuhan, Hubei Province 1963, Mr. Liu Chunbing graduated from Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and received an MA degree. He is now Deputy Secretary General of Hubei Artists’ Association, a national A-level artist, and a member of the Chinese Artists’ Association. Many art pieces were awarded and collected by Chines and overseas organizations and private collectors.
