Developed advanced Optical Coating Technology for the burgeoning telecommunications industry.
New 16-acre global headquarters built in Richmond, California’s beautiful Marina Bay, located 15 miles east of San Francisco.

2003
Established state-of-the-art Micro Electrical Mechanical Systems (MEMS) fabrication facility. In 2003 LED development begins fabrication in this facility as well.
DiCon expands its photonics expertise by investing in R&D for solid-state lighting technology.

FiberLamp™ merges Dense Matrix LED™ with traditional fiberoptic lighting for both interior and exterior architectural lighting. The FiberLamp™ power consumption is from 36 W to 96 W. The 96 watt FiberLamp™ with twinkle wheel option is equivalent to a 250 W metal halide with color wheel.
