POP QUIZ AT SUNNY LUNCH

Rather than attempting a whole-Club party around the busy, silly season, Karori Probus Club held a Spring lunch, in place of their October meeting. Even the weather played its part and the sun shone for the first time in several days. Each member was greeted with a free drink voucher and a beautiful lunch spread, catered by Elaine.

President Murray welcomed 62 members and guests, and Melvina surprised the crowd with a quiz – which was hard enough that no table got 100%. Members reported feeling very confident before the quiz… but much less so during. It was a great gathering to mix and mingle and, if the sounds of laughter and chatter were any indication, the afternoon was a great success!
