Getting educated about this habit and being knowledgeable about associated behavioral factors like riding in a vehicle with someone who is drunk, using marijuana, smoking can help them to make better choices and to stay away from these habits. Parents should be aware that dentists have the opportunity to educate, intervene and provide tobacco use cessation programs in the normal course of providing dental care.
