Our chapter chose students based on applications to go to National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana! While there, members got to learn about the many opportunities that FFA provides. They were able to meet and form new relationships with many other FFA members, and learn a lot from the national officers. We listened to guest speaker and Olympic athlete Tamika Catchings. While in Indianapolis, we had a blast at the Haunted Acres Scare Park! We also attended the Lauren Alaina and Jimmie Allen concert. On the way back, we got to take a tour through the Louisville Sluggers factory and museum, and see each step of how the famous bats are made!

The Alton Alumni Class of 1962 donated funds for three brand new Alton FFA jackets. The funds for these jackets were donated in Memory of the class of 1962 FFA Members Leo Warren, Hubert Vest, And Kenneth Hall. Each new high school student was given the chance to recite the FFA creed to get a free jacket. The first to accomplish this was Mckilie Biggs, Jorja King, and Erica Bell.
