Free Report Reveals How to Avoid Getting Stuck Owning Two Homes

WEDNESDAY

May 23, 2018

MONTREAL - West Island - Every month, thousands of homeowners are faced with the stressful dilemma of whether to buy first or sell first. You see, if you buy before selling, you could run the risk of owning two homes. Or, just as bad, if you sell first, you could end up homeless. It's what insiders in the industry call the Real Estate Catch 22, and it's an extremely anxious position to find yourself in. This financial and emotional tightrope is one you usually have to walk alone because most agents have no way of helping you with this predicament. But one local realtor is using a unique Guaranteed Sale Program which solves this dilemma. This program guarantees the sale of your present home before you take possession of your new one. If your home doesn't sell in 120 days, they will buy it from you themselves for the previously agreed price ensuring that you never get caught in the Real Estate

Catch 22. Before you hire any professional, you should research the market to find out who can do the best job for you. When interviewing agents, find out what kind of guarantee they are willing to give you with respect to the selling of your home. Unfortunately, you'll find that most agents simply cannot make such a guarantee. To help you learn more about this program and how it can make your move less stressful, a FREE special report has been prepared entitled "How to Avoid Getting Stuck with Two Homes". To order a FREE Special Report, visit www.WestislandGuaranteedSold.com or to hear a brief recorded message about how to order your FREE copy of this report call toll-free 1-800-727-7105 and enter 3005. You can call any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Get your free special report NOW to find out how to guarantee the cash sale of your home.

WEDNESDAY MONTREAL IRISH

May 23, 2018

The annual Montreal Irish “Walk to the Stone” MONTREAL - Montreal Irish “Walk to the Stone” – For more than 100 years the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) have hosted a Walk to the Black Rock to remember the 6000+ victims from the tragic events of 1847, as well as, to remember the tremendous humanitarian efforts, by Montrealers of all religions and languages that went to provide support and comfort to these poor and dying Irish in Black ’47. This year the Walk is scheduled as usual on the last Sunday in May – May 27th. Since about 1970, after St. Anne’s Church in www.mtltimes.ca

Griffintown was demolished, the Walk has originated from St. Gabriel’s Church at 2157 Centre Street in the Point. The Walk starts after a Mass in the Church (10:30am) – normally around noon. (It proceeds along Centre to Wellington St.; Left on Wellington; and then right on Bridge St. to the Black Rock). The AOH also provides a bus for anyone with mobility issues that are not able to walk the distance. Generally the Walk, along with short speeches by the Lord Mayor and other dignitaries, at the Black Rock, takes just a little more than 1 hour.

Arts and music in Mile End, and Francos fest gets a long-term support By: Sergio Martinez / mtltimes.ca

FRANCOS FESTIVAL - In the heart of Mile End –that Montreal neighbourhood marked by rail lines, old industrial sites, and a diverse population– residents and community organizations have decided to put into action their desires to enjoy together this short period that is our summer. With the purpose of putting these ideas into practice, they have converted an empty spot located between the CP Rail line and the corner of Bernard and Gaspé streets into a temporary place for music shows, and arts presentations. The idea is to set a gathering place for neighbours and people from other parts of the city who would want to share a beer or try some of the food offered at the kiosks or the food truck parked on Gaspé. www.mtltimes.ca

Named Aire Commune (Common Area) the site was officially inaugurated this Thursday and will remain open until September 21. The organizers have planned to have dance evenings hosted by a DJ, live music shows featuring local bands, conferences, and other activities that will be presented by people who work or reside in the area. This initiative is part or local community groups to improve life in that very significant sector of Mile End and has counted on the support of local businesses, some companies from outside the area as well, and the Plateau Mt. Royal borough.

FRANCOS GET SUPPORT FOR TEN YEAR

The festival that used to be known as FrancoFolies, now shortened just to Francos (in my opinion a wrong decision, but well, at the times of texting and Twitter, fewer characters seems to be the way to go), got a tenyear sponsorship from Bell Canada. Martine Turcotte The announcement, made this past Thursday by representatives from Bell Canada, Spectra and Evenko ensures the long permanence of this festival devoted to the French song. The Francos offers every year a wide selection of Francophone music presented in both, indoor and outdoor, i.e. free, concerts, and featuring artists from this country as well as from Europe, the Caribbean, and Africa. It also serves as a preparation and a warm-up

16

for the popular Jazz Festival scheduled for the end of June and beginning of July. "Bell is extremely proud to extend support for the festival until 2027 to ensure it continues as of Quebec's most cherished and unifying event," said Martine Turcotte, Vice Chair for Quebec for Bell, during the press conference called especially to make this announcement. Jacques-AndrĂŠ Dupont, Les Francos CEO, for his part, said: "We're thrilled that our partnership with Bell has been renewed for the next ten years." According to the press release, "In addition to providing significant annual funding, Bell will expand the festival's technology capabilities with the development of new apps, online platforms and virtual reality projects." The Francos festival will run from June 7 to 17 (an extra day was added to pay homage to Jacques Higelin).

NDG’s ’Notre-Prom-de-Grâce’ Prom Dress Giveaway NOTRE-PROM-DE-GRÂCE – The NDG Community Council is hosting its 1st edition of ‘Notre Prom de Grâce’ and they are giving away Prom Dresses for free! Students can view and select a dress on May 27th 2018 from 11:00am until 4:00pm at their place located at 5964 Ave Notre-Dame-de-Grace – Suite 205. It all started last January when a family in the dropped off some donations at the Sherbrooke Forest Art Hive. In the donations they found a beautiful, mauve dress. The family who donated the supplies said ‘do whatever you want, use it for fabric or give it away, we don’t need it anymore.’ So the Council decided to do something else with it. www.mtltimes.ca

They thought it was too beautiful to repurpose and instead dreamed up the ‘Prom Dress Project’ hoping to receive at least another 20 dresses. They ended up getting over 150 dresses of all sizes, plus jewelry, hand bags and shoes! And as they said, “We want to highlight the beauty of the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle – while offering families a respite from over spending when it isn’t necessary. We don’t need to consume more we can share what we have.” Everyone graduating is welcome to come and sort through the dresses and choose one for their High School Prom. They are also offering:
