MONTREAL - La Pizza Week October 2018- During the 1st week of October, Montreal will play host to the 2nd Annual LA PIZZA WEEK, a month-long national culinary competition. More than 50 restaurants in Montreal will compete for the title of best pizza in a diverse selection of categories.. This month-long, family-friendly celebration of everyone’s favourite comfort food will see restaurateurs from Greater Montreal vying for honours and bragging rights in eight (8) categories: 1. YulEat Festival 2018 FESTIVAL - Festival YUL EAT, presented by evenko in collaboration with Delta Air Lines and taking place from September 10th to 16th 2018, is glad to announce a new special event in its lineup: Destination Caraïbes. The atmosphere of Festival YUL EAT will be particularly tropical on the third floor of the Société des arts technologiques (SAT), including the Satosphère (dome)! On the menu: small authentic Caribbean dishes, a rum bar and tasty cocktails, a DJ and percussionists. The goal of this festive evening? To celebrate and showcase the gastronomy, the cocktails and the music of the well-established Caribbean community and culture in Montreal. Participating in that evening: Agrikol, Kwizinn and Local Jerk restaurants, Bouillon de saveurs and Les délices de Patrice caterers, member of collectives Oasis MTL and 5 Starz DJ Don Barbarino. In collaboration with our partners: Creemore Springs,Baileys, Tanqueray, Les viandes duBreton and Les aliments Roma. Other names will be added in the upcoming weeks.

New Chaos Features Extreme Upside Down Hang-Time MONTREAL - La Ronde, Quebec's leading destination for thrills and family entertainment, will introduce a new giant loop roller coaster, Chaos, for the 2019 season. Chaos offers a pure adrenaline rush as riders go forward, backward and upside down for unprecedented hang-time. This newest ride joins an already impressive lineup of groundbreaking rides and attractions. “We are committed to offering thrills for all ages with the most innovative rides and attractions in the industry," said Park President Janine Durette. "The forward and backward motion of this ride along with the inverted hang-time at 70 feet in the air delivers a unique and exhilarating roller coaster experience." Chaos features a single 7-story loop that swings riders back and forth, higher and higher before soaring through multiple heart-pounding revolutions. The coaster changes directions halfway through the ride cycle; leaving riders suspended upside down at the top of the loop for even more intense thrills. Chaos is an extreme thrill ride featuring:

SPIRITS - Twenty years after family owned Benromach Distillery was reopened by His Royal Highness The Duke of Rothesay, a rare single malt whisky has been released to mark the occasion. Benromach Cask No 1 is an incredibly rare and limited-edition expression taken from the first cask that was laid down when the distillery reopened after many years of closure. The cask itself was signed by HRH The Duke of Rothesay, Prince Charles, during the distillery’s official reopening ceremony on 15th October 1998. Marking a defining moment in the distillery’s history and a key date in this year’s 20th anniversary celebrations, all profits from the sale of Benromach Cask No 1 will be donated to charitable causes. The whisky, which was bottled on the 21st August 2018 exactly 20 years after it was filled, is a cask strength (60.1% abv) 1998 vintage. All 575 bottles of this incredibly rare expression will be sold exclusively through Benromach Distillery’s Visitor Centre with a RRP of £1,000 ( Approx: $1689 CDN). Pre-orders can be placed from today (3rd September) with decanters available

from 15th October 2018. Benromach Cask No 1 was matured in a First Fill Sherry Butt and has a sumptuous vintage character of rich fruits, smooth chocolate and warm spices, with hints of zingy citrus, coffee bean and charred oak. Originally built in 1898, Benromach Distillery was brought back to life when the Urquhart family purchased it in 1993. The distillery was extensively reequipped over five years before it was officially opened on 15th October 1998 by HRH The Duke of Rothesay. “As we celebrate the 20th anniversary since Benromach was brought back to life, it is fitting that the Urquhart family has decided to donate all the profits from the sale of this product to charitable causes.
