PROFESSIONAL COLLABORATIONS 2017 Solar energy calculations and research for the book 'Energie & Ruimte' – Amsterdam, The Netherlands Hoe veel ruimte vraagt het duurzaam opwekken van onze energie?’ ‘Past dat eigenlijk wel in Nederland?’ ‘Wat betekent dat dan voor onze steden en ons landschap?’ Voor de hand liggende vragen die nog niet eerder in detail waren uitgewerkt en bij elkaar voor heel Nederland op een kaart gezet zijn. De publicatie ’Energie & Ruimte – een nationaal perspectief’ schetst een mogelijk antwoord en laat zien welke keuzes er voorliggen This publication explores how much space is needed to achieve an energy neutral existence in The Netherlands. This question is answered in detail and placed in the national map in order to visualize what are the real possibilities for a future energy transition and which options are there for shapping this future urbanscape based on energy efficiency. As part of the FABRICations team I had direct involvement in the calculation, research and diagramation processes on regard to solar energy included in this book. This project publication was developed under the framework of the Energie Transitie by joint participation of Dirk Sijmons, HNS, WUR, Posad and FABRICations, under the coordination of Vereniging Deltametropool. 2016 Winner Public contest for the design of 'Bugambilias social housing neighbourhood' - Alto Hospicio, Chile Social housing project developed to answer a need for sustainable qualitative housing in the commune of Alto Hospicio. The project is diagrammed under the concept of super-blocks, in order to strength the interior public space and reconnecting it with identity aims relevant for the region. Among them is the recovery of the permanently present fog water to maintain native flora as part of the daily joint living of the citizens. Public contest project developed for the Ministry of housing and living and Service of housing and living of Chile in the region of Tarapacá 2016 reSITE 2016 'Cities in Migration Game' http://resite.cz/en/ The 5th annual reSITE conference and festival explored architecture, real estate development, human networks, public policy, public space and public transportation that integrates new residents sustainably and successfully. SOCIAL - ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS SOCIAL
INTERNATIONAL
The experience working in construction field delivers the importance of team work, the technical communication between the different skills performing a common task and the value of mutual respect in the work field. In order to perform in a multicultural (and socio-economically diverse) work environment, is determining to bring commitment through the idea that every piece is complementary and relevant in order to obtain good quality results.
The international study experience reveals the acknowledgment of the ideal role the professional should take (considering its occupational strengths) within a workgroup, and the development of a capacity to understand diverse socio-cultural urban phenomena shaping life around the world, together with the ability to overlap lessons learned in order to inform and transfer knowledge.
ORGANIZATIONAL The office/studio experience delivered knowledge about collection and management of colleague needs, the development of projects in a multi skilled group, the agreement of the specialties.
