Each year, Generosity Global hosts an impact focused & energy filled event that brings attention to the global water crisis and raise money for clean water projects in sub-Saharan Africa. ABOUT Welcome to the 6th annual Mission Ball fundraising gala. Every September, Generosity Global Inc. hosts its annual gala to raise awareness and bring attention to the global water crisis. Mission Ball 2019 is an elegant / black tie affair that brings together influencers, creatives, media, entrepreneurs, techies, and other industry leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds, all committed to address the water crisis in sub-Saharan Africa. We have seen the event crowd grow from the first year when just 35 people attended to last year, #missionball2018, that drew a crowd of 300 guests. The primary goal for Mission Ball 2019 is to party in style while raising funds for water projects in rural villages in Cameroon, Africa. 100% of all funds raised through ticket sales, donations, sponsorships, is invested in drilling of wells, as well as addressing hygiene and sanitation needs within the communities we work in.

Over 660 Million people worldwide don’t have access to clean drinking water. 350 Million of them are in Africa.
Dirty Water Affects... HEALTH
80% of diseases in the developing world is caused by lack of access to clean drinking water. With lack of clean water, people end up drinking contaminated water from stagnant ponds, sand dug wells, rivers that humans and animals defecate in. Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.
TIME
In Africa alone, women spend more that 40 billion hours collecting water. On average, women and young girls spend 5-6 hours fetching water. With no clean source water nearby, they walk close to 3 miles walking to collect dirty water. With all that time spent collecting water, there is no time left to do productive things that can help improve their lives and communities.
EDUCATION
More time spent collecting water means less time children can spend in school learning. Because of drinking unsafe, contaminated water, children are usually forced to miss school because they are home sick from illnesses such as malaria, typhoid, dysentery, measles, etc. Also, because of no nearby sources of clean water in school and no where to clean up, girls stay home during their menstruation cycle because of shame.
ILLNESS/DEATH
A child dies every 20 seconds from illnesses resulting from drinking contaminated water. The world bank estimates that more children under the age of 5 are killed from water related illness, more than deaths from HIV/AIDS, malaria and measles combined. SPONSORSHIP KIT | MISSION BALL 2019

ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER IS THE KEY TO PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES THRIVING.
The walk for water that took at least 3 hours, now take just 15-30 minutes and the water is safe to drink.
Children survive, thrive and incur fewer developmental problems from not carrying heavy loads on their heads.
Kids spend more time in school instead of walking for water. 544 million school days are gained per year with access to water. Grades improve and kids graduate and pursue professional careers.
Water projects increase employment by using local laborers & individuals trained to maintain the wells.
Medicine is practiced more effectively with clean water, clean facilities and clean instruments. With a decrease in water-borne diseases, there are less fatalities.
Water projects help build the local economy. With time now on their side, people become enterprising, selling goods and products to earn more income. Terms & Conditions Representations and Indemnification. Each party is solely responsible for any legal liability arising out of or relating to any advertising copy, intellectual property or creative content (the “Content”) that it provides to the other party under this Contract. Each party hereby represents and warrants that it holds the necessary rights to permit the use of its Content by the other party for the purpose of this Contract, and that the use, reproduction, distribution, or transmission of the its Content by the other party will not violate any criminal laws or any rights of any third parties, including, without limitation, such violations as infringement or misappropriation of any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, music, image, or other proprietary or property right, false advertising, unfair competition, defamation, invasion of privacy or rights of celebrity, violation of any antidiscrimination law or regulation, or any other right of any person or entity. Each party agrees to indemnify the other, and the other’s respective owners, employees, officers, directors, agents, affiliates, successors and assigns from any and all liability, loss, damages, demands, claims, or causes of action, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses that may be incurred by the other party, arising out of or related to its breach of any of the foregoing representations and warranties. Payment. Sponsor will pay the total sponsorship fee and any additional contribution sixty (60) days prior the start of the event for its sponsorship in accordance with this Sponsorship Agreement.
Sponsorship Cancellation. >45 days out – 25% refund. 45 days or less –no refund. Termination. Generosity Global Inc. shall have the right to terminate this Contract by written notice given to “SPPONSOR” at any time after any of the following shall occur: (i) “SPONSOR” breaches, in any material respect, any of the terms and conditions of this Contract, including, without limitation, any of its representations and warranties hereunder; (ii) “SPONSOR” or or guests engages in any illegal activity (iii) “SPONSOR” fails to make any payment required under this Contract when due. Both parties shall have the right to terminate this Contract by written notice given to the opposite party sixty (60) days in advance. Intellectual Property. Neither party may use the intellectual property of the other without securing prior, written approval of the other party, which approval the other party may grant or withhold in its sole discretion. Force Majeure. Each party shall be excused from its duty to perform any covenant or obligation under this Contract, except an obligation to pay any sums of money, in the event but only so long as the performance is prevented, delayed or hindered by any act, event, or condition which is beyond the reasonable control of the asserting party (each a “Force Majeure Event”). The term “Force Majeure Event” shall include, but not be limited to, acts of God, fire, earthquakes, floods, explosions, severe weather, terrorist attacks, war, riots, strikes, lockouts, actions of labor unions, epidemics,
condemnation or other taking by the action of any governmental body, or shortages. Liability. In exchange for participating in the Mission Ball 2019 organized by Generosity Global Inc. the sponsor knowingly and voluntarily assume any and all risk associated with event participation. In the event of any accident, illness, other incapacity, death or loss or damage to personal property associated with participation in such voluntary activities, the sponsor will assume and pay for all of medical and emergency care expenses, and any other costs related to damage, loss, or injury. Generosity Global Inc. is not responsible for any costs resulting therefrom. Compliance with Laws & Permits. “SPONSOR” hereby agrees to comply with all laws, regulations, statutes, and ordinances applicable to Sponsor in connection with its business activities and performance under this Contract. “SPONSOR” shall be responsible to obtain and secure all necessary permits and licenses required to perform under this Contract, including, without limitation, any necessary business licenses. Governing Law. This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maryland (now or hereafter in effect), without regard to its conflicts of laws, rules or policies. The Maryland shall be the sole jurisdiction for any disputes hereunder.
