The Nature Discovery Centre is a Berks, Bucks and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust managed wildlife haven in the middle of Thatcham and Newbury. They have family-friendly walking trails for all capabilities taking in the lake, reed beds and the Kennet and Avon canal where you can spot all sorts of fantastic wildlife. Their large adventure playground is open all year round and their shop and café, selling hot and cold drinks, tasty snacks and ice creams, will be open seven days a week during the summer holidays for those all-important refreshments!
