Stagecoach Altrincham and Urmston provide quality part-time training in the arts for children aged 4-18 years. Their aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting, and dancing classes in south Manchester. No experience necessary, they cater to each individual child’s needs, and you can trial the classes for two weeks before committing to a full term. The Lowry is proud to present the Creative Writing Challenge 2023! Open to all children in Greater Manchester aged 7-11, the Creative Writing challenge is an exciting new competition which aims to build children’s confidence and amplify their voices through creative writing. Entries can submit all forms of writing for performance including poetry, short fiction, plays and rap! The winner will get to perform their writing on stage at a prize giving event on the 18th May as well as other amazing prizes. The Silcock family have presented this fair for many generations and have kept the tradition alive for local families by bringing some of Europe’s top attractions to Daisy Nook Country Park each year.
