RAINFORD HIGH CONFIRM DATE FOR SEPTEMBER OPEN EVENING

Plans for an exceptional open evening are already underway at Rainford High. On Thursday 29th September from 6pm until 8pm, staff and current students will warmly welcome prospective pupils and their families into the state-of-the-art school. Introductions from the principal, Mr Ian Young, will take place in the auditorium from 6:05pm, 6:30pm, 6:55pm and 7:25pm. ST JOHN BOSCO AWARDS AFTERNOON CELEBRATES STUDENTS’ TALENTS WITH INSPIRATIONAL GUEST SPEAKER

St John Bosco Awards Afternoon was a fantastic event. At the beginning of July, the whole school community gathered at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral to celebrate the successes and achievements of students from the past year. They were thrilled to be joined by Hannah Cockroft, MBE as their guest speaker. She inspired students with her history, her first experiences of sport and some of the challenges she has overcome. The whole event was a wonderful celebration of students’ talents. There were performances from the school choir, band and a dance performed by all year 7 students.
