Enjoy exclusive tours of spectacular Holdenby House this summer

For the first time ever, between July 18th and August 12th, group visits can take advantage of exclusive tours of Holdenby House and Garden, still lived in by the Lowther family. Walk the corridors that were once part of the largest house in England built by Lord Chancellor, Sir Christopher Hatton, to entertain Queen Elizabeth I. Stand on one of the most historically important sites in England where King Charles I was taken into custody of Parliament by Cornet Joyce and 500 men-at-arms. Study the many plants in the Kitchen Garden and don’t forget to look up and see one of Icarus Falconry’s magnificent birds of prey flying overhead. Afterwards, enjoy lunch or cream tea in Connie’s Tea Parlour. T: 01604 770 074 E: office@holdenby.com
