BURN BAN IN EFFECT FOR CLEVELAND COUNTY Effective Monday, Jan. 24, 2022 The Cleveland County Board of County Commissioners has issued a 14-day burn ban for Cleveland County (includes all of the City of Moore) in response to high fire danger as verified by Cleveland County fire chiefs. This ban is effective immediately and prohibits all fires, campfires, bonfires, burning trash or other materials. Enforcement of this county burn ban may be carried out by any law enforcement officer of this state. Any person convicted of violating this resolution shall be guilty of a mis-demeanor punishable by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), by imprisonment for not more than one (1) year, or both. Outdoor cooking in approved cooking appliances is permissible with due caution.
