This is a course over 3 weeks for horse crazy kids who want to learn the basic riding/handling skills to become more confident around horses. All courses will be held at Hightail Horse Ranch & Sanctuary, 2895 15th Ave N, Hawley:

How to Be with Horses (Ages 14 and up)

This is a 4 week course designed for adults who have always wanted to learn more about horses, but have never had the opportunity. We will help you conquer your fears and get comfortable with the help of our gentle teaching horses. We will talk about terms, body language, brushing, haltering, leading, and basic equipment, with the goal of helping everyone who wishes to have an opportunity to ride for a bit the last night of class.
