SUPREME GRAND SHEIK’S CORNER December 28, 2022 Islam! We Praise Allah the Great God of Justice for all and Honors to Our Founder Prophet Noble Drew Ali. I joined the Moorish Science Temple of America February 12, 1978, at 957 E. 79 St., in Chicago, Illinois along with my wife of 35 years and my children. Most of my teachers, who some of them sat directly under our Prophet Noble Drew Ali, have all been called home including our Sister Christina Price Bey (Christina Rhodes El), and Brother Walter Sloan El. We thought that we were the Grand Major Temple until 1985. Not knowing that the Prophet's Temple was still meeting in a small apartment, obscure from the rest of the Moorish nation in secret, until a brave Sister D. O'Neal Bey while working at Chicago State University where I was a student, invited me to a Moorish social function. The excitement was overwhelming to myself and Brother P. Davis El who had many questions as to what happened to the real Moorish Science Temple of America (M.S.T. of A.). We worked hard to bring this good news to the rest of our Moorish kindred through television, radio and national conferences (see enclosed). Many came including Brother Ra El. So much information was learned through reading the old records and letters from our Great Prophet Noble Drew Ali as to how he wanted his Divine Movement to be ran. It was sad knowing that these records laid dormant for over 50 years gathering dust. Our approach has been and will continue to be in favor of our Holy and Divine prophet Noble Drew Ali. All of the Prophet's original temples had left the Grand Body, in which no temple was present for years. Nevertheless, any Moors or body of Moors that came to us for a Charter (Warrant of Authority), upon investigation were issued one. We never at anytime sought out temples, which to this day is our same policy. As a result, we have many branch temples on line and are growing fast as many Moors want to come home to where our Prophet left us at his M.S.T. of A. Home Office. There was no bank account and had not been one in existence for over 35 years. All monies that were collected went into the hands of Brother D. Bailey El, who was at that time Chairman until 1992. He was forced to step down upon investigation and Brother P. Davis El became Supreme Grand Sheik and Chairman of the M.S.T. ofA. in 1992 (see enclosed). I was then appointed by Brother P. Davis El as his Assistant Grand Sheik and Supreme Grand Governor and was instructed by my Grand Sheik to raise the temples in New York and Atlanta, Georgia. Brother P. Davis El's greatest accomplishment was to fill all vacant positions on the Supreme Grand Council in which was our Prophet Noble Drew Ali's wish (see "Forced to Make Changes" and other supportive documents).
We are responsible for the understanding of our Prophet's instructions and must carry them out to the letter as our first Supreme Grand Sheik and Chairman Brother E. Mealy El did with great integrity. When our Grand Sheik P. Davis El passed after suffering with cancer, In September 19971 was unanimously accepted as Supreme Grand Sheik and Chairman of the Moorish Science Temple of America, following the chain of former Supreme Grand Sheiks and Chairmen beginning with Bro. E. Mealy El, which has no bloodline to Brother D. Bailey El (see enclosures). Our position has and will always remain to be that of our Prophet Noble Drew Ali to the letter. All work and decisions are made and will always be made with the assistance of the Prophet and the Grand Body. This Divine Movement was and will always be void of a one-person organization. This is not what our Prophet's intention is and this is Law. Through hard work and dedication of member's will, all were able to raise our treasury to well over $15,000 which was and still is managed and accountable for by our Supreme Grand Secretary and Treasurer contrary to some disgruntled members who have malicious feelings towards the temple and the Prophet, with no proof of these false accusations. "Act 3. Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice must be proclaimed by all members of the Moorish Science Temple of America. No member is to put in danger or accuse falsely his brother or sister on any occasion at all, that might harm his brother or sister because Allah is Love." I hope that we as Moorish Americans have not walked into some kind of illusion. I look forward to the day we have $100,000 and more. There is so many things we could do with that kind of money to uplift fallen humanity. We will continually work hard to some day get that kind of money and yes as always it will be in the bank as our Prophet instructed us to do. (see enclosure). Peace,

Daw El from Temple #35 Houston, Texas conducted Roll Call for Grand Sheiks/Sheikesses, Grand Governors and Governors. In attendance was Bro. K. Carter Bey, GGGSDM of Temple #52 in Washington, D.C, Bro. K. Brown Bey, GSDM of Temple #21 in Atlanta, Gerogia, out of Temple #10 in Newark, Nj is Bro. S. Hughes EL, RGGGSDM, from Temple #52 Washington, D.C. is Bro. W. Graham Bey, RGG, then we have Bro. M. Smiley Bey, GS of Temple #75 in Birmingham, Alabama, and finally we have our Sis. B. Graham Bey, GS #19 of Baltimore, Maryland.

This is why we advocate that the Moorish Science of America is the only national organization amongst our Asiatic people, unfortunately called today Black, that can solve our problems. We teach that our people are Asiatic because according to all true and divine records of the human race, there is no Negro, Black, Colored Race attached to the Human Family and we consider it to be a sin and unconstitutional for our people to cling to names and principles that delude to slavery.
