DATE NIGHT IN A JAR Are you and your husband stuck on trying to think of what to do for date night? Here is a date night jar idea that you can make him for Valentine’s Day. You essentially just need craft sticks, a jar and whatever else you want to use to decorate your date night jar. One idea is to spray paint them different colors. Each color represents a different type of date. Red sticks have more expensive dates on them that require planning on your part. • Bed and Breakfast • Dinner at a fancy restaurant • Hotel stay for the night • Sports game • Concert/show and dinner (his choice) • Concert/show and dinner (her choice) • Weekend away • Art Gallery • Couples Massage Dark pink sticks have “at home” dates: • Fondue and a TV show • Takeout and board games • 1,000 piece puzzle and pizza • Football game and nachos • Popcorn and a chick-flick • Cook dinner together • Crosswords and breakfast for dinner • Make a dessert together • Homemade pizzas and an Italian movie • Picnic in your living room Light Pink dates have things you can do away For m from home but are less expensive than the red night ore date and don’t require as much planning. idea www .pinte s visit • Dinner and a movie (my choice and his choice) res MOPS • Laser tag and go carts Edmo t.com/ nd/lo • Mexican night at your favorite Mexican ve/ restaurant • Drive-In date • Dessert only date • Painting class • Window shopping for the house www.lifeinthegreenhouse.com • Bowling St. Mary’s School • Garage sale/flea market/farmers market Preschool – 8th Grade • The Melting Pot • Coffee Date Nurturing Your Child’s Potential • Ice cream/Frozen Yogurt for the Future • Ethnic cuisine you’ve never tried • Rock Climbing • Walk at the park 405.341.9541
