YACHTS Our portfolio as a yacht designer began in 1986 and spans from 8m tenders to sleek 43m sailing yachts and majestic 162m motor yachts. We design everything from exterior to interior, bow to stern, mast to keel. Since our very first commission, we have stayed resolutely true to our founding goals - to create spatial emotion through design, to meticulously consider an individual’s lifestyle requirements and to passionately pursue our clients’ desires.
M/Y TIS Length - 111m Broker - Moran Yacht & Ship Yard - Lürssen Exterior Designer - Winch Design Interior Designer - Winch Design Guest No. - 18 Supremely elegant, the 111m Tis extends proudly along the water. Her long, smooth exterior lines ensure that her graceful silhouette does not go unnoticed. Boasting extraordinary volumes, her six decks house eight luxurious guest cabins, each taking inspiration from the colours and textures of iconic residences around the world. Her indulgent VIP suite features his and hers bathrooms, dressing rooms, a massage parlour and mezzanine level lounge, overlooking the main deck and informal lounge.
Relentlessly faithful to luxurious entertainment, she features two helipads, a 12-metre swimming pool, a resort-inspired spa, private cinema, beach club and ample storage for tenders and other essential toys. Notably, it is Tis’s spectacular sweeping staircases, the scale of which has only ever been seen in palaces, which really set her apart from the crowd. Tis is the quintessential classical superyacht, elevated by Winch Design’s dedication to perfection.
M/Y PLVS VLTRA Length - 74m Broker - Moran Yacht & Ship Yard - Amels Interior Designer - Winch Design Exterior designer - Tim Heywood Guest No. - 12 Plvs Vltra, translating to ‘Farther Beyond’, is the first of four units in Amels’ Limited Editions 242 range, and features a Winch Design interior inspired by the Côte d’Azur.
The owners style can clearly be picked up while walking through the yacht whilst taking in all the different colour schemes, materials, and surface elements which bring to life the spirit of Plvs Ultra.
It’s a highly decorative design, with intricately veined marbles, stained woods and plenty of crystal but thanks to the blend of neutrals with soft Cote d’Azur tones of blue and yellow, the effect remains light and relaxing — more like a house than a boat.
The spa was deemed so impressive by the 2017 World Superyacht Awards judges, it won the award for ‘Best Design Feature’.
M/Y AURORA Length - 74m Broker - Moran Yacht & Ship Yard - Lürssen Interior Designer - Winch Design Exterior Designer - Winch Design Guest No. - 12
Aurora takes design cues from both classic yachts and modernday superyachts. Her Art Deco name plate, framed by classic shipstyle windows on the decks above and below hark back to an era of gentleman’s yachting, whereas the powerful bow and vertical windows forward place the yacht firmly in 2017.
With a large family in mind, she boasts generous interior and exterior spaces, and her volume of 2113 GT is considerably larger than most yachts of comparable length. This is partly due to her full-beam sky lounge, which Lurssen describes as “one of the most impressive and luxurious areas of the yacht”.
Her interior is also based on the early 1900s French Art Deco era, taking inspiration from influential artists and designers from the time period.
M/Y ACE Length - 85m Broker - Moran Yacht & Ship Yard - Lürssen Interior Designer - Winch Design Exterior Designer - Winch Design Guest No. - 12 Her exterior is sharp but delicate, the true oxymoronic character of being both imposing, yet elegantly proportioned. With every bit of her Lürssen DNA evident; the Winch magic in her interior speaks volumes.
This sentiment of ‘world-class’ sings from her interior. Classic meets contemporary in her design scheme, executed in sparkling white with splashes of blue, cream and silver. An ode to the ocean; royal blues and plush purples merge with regal silhouettes to offer an interior which is non-conforming in places and entirely conforming in others.
Service is exceptionally well integrated on-board Ace, she has capacity for twenty-eight crew and ten guests, and she doesn’t hold back on amenities – from helicopter landing facilities, to a gym, beach club, swimming platform, saunas, Hamman and huge Roman-style Jacuzzi.
