EXTERIOR DESIGN
A stylish modern bow, creating a long waterline, flows into timeless long and slim lines – a design in the finest tradition of AMELS yachts. Length: 60 metres (197 ft) | Beam: 10.4 metres (34 ft) | Gross Tonnage: 830
Brilliant Design We’re delighted to introduce Espen Øino as the designer behind the AMELS 60, a new generation yacht in our Limited Editions range. With the AMELS 60, Espen and his team deliver nothing short of the stellar creativity and passion for detail that he has built his enviable reputation on.
“Little edgy aspects give the design depth and shape.”
“Starting with a blank sheet of paper, the design builds on the heritage at AMELS, but it’s a clean and contemporary way to experience the sea. You have these big views from the Owners Suite through trapezoid forms with chamfered frames, little edgy aspects that make it dynamic. The hard top, crisp lines and overhangs, give shape to the big Sun Deck, it’s 27 metres (89 ft) long. From Main Deck aft you have a clear line of sight down to

Outdoor Time Perfectly balanced from Sun Deck to the sea
Which outdoor space will you choose for today’s dining, cocktails and socialising? Or find your favourite spot on deck to watch the world’s most beautiful coastlines and ocean vistas going by – such as the forward-facing ‘Portuguese Bridge’ seating area in front of the wheelhouse. From the Main Deck and Bridge Deck aft, guests have clear views down to the giant 38 squaremetre Swim Platform and stairs (409 sq ft).
“Between the Swim Platform and Main Deck you have the perfect height, the visual contact so the stern platform becomes part of something bigger which I find is something very interesting.” Espen Øino
Enjoy swimming, snorkelling, diving and lots of fun toys in the water. Step back on board with the removable carbon swim ladder or optional integrated hydraulic swim stairs.
Waterside Pleasure The transom door opens and the giant Swim Platform leads into the Beach Club and sauna – a multifunctional 28 square-metre space (301 sq ft) that we can customise to your favourite ocean activities. The Beach Club connects directly with the Lower Deck Guests Suites and central staircase, so you and your guests have easy access at anchor, underway and in the marina.
The AMELS 60 carries a 9-metre luxury tender (30 ft), the largest tender on a yacht this size. Stow it on foredeck – secure, protected and without the hassle and risk of towing.

Ocean views On Main Deck, the four large trapezoid-shaped windows – a signature feature of Espen Øino’s design – offer almost full-height views, filling the Owners Suite with light. For floor to ceiling panoramas, the folding balcony opens up the Owners Suite with a 7 square-metre terrace (75 sq ft) – perfect for an al fresco breakfast together.

Many yachts arrive in the Mediterranean and never leave. With countless, varied destinations, this superyacht hotspot is where we built our reputation
MEDITERRANEAN STYLE The home of luxury yachting
for the highest quality craftsmanship and exquisite paintwork. Side by side in the marina or anchored in close proximity, your AMELS 60 quite literally outshines her neighbours and proves that quality is indeed in the details. Your personal palette Pictured with a metallic silver hull and superstructure with charcoal grey highlights, your AMELS 60 charms onlookers with eye-catching and athletic masculinity.
CAPITALS OF EXCITEMENT Urban lifestyle on your terms
Whether you aim to combine business with pleasure or just enjoy a city break with family and friends, when your AMELS 60 arrives, you own the prime location in town. Host unforgettable celebrations and important business partners with your own yacht, your own interiors, your own crew, and on your own terms. Your personal palette Pictured with an Arabian blue hull, cloud white superstructure and jet black highlights, your AMELS 60 is modern and sporty with sophisticated elegance.
CARIBBEAN ISLAND LUXURY Explore the islands with a charter favourite
If you decide to charter out your AMELS 60, you’ll find that AMELS yachts have become highly desirable Caribbean favourites. Why? Because AMELS yachts have everything your charter guests need to get the most out of every moment of their vacations. Sitting sturdily in the sea with our full displacement hull, the AMELS 60 is ideal for inter-island overnight journeys in stable comfort. Each morning your charter guests will awaken refreshed, far from the eyes of the shoreside crowd, with a new idyllic hideaway to enjoy.
PRISTINE ARCTIC BEAUTY Once-in-a-lifetime memories you and your family will never forget
Any yacht builder can illustrate a yacht in the ice, but as every captain knows, not every yacht is capable of reaching polar destinations – the most challenging cruising grounds – without compromising your safety and comfort. AMELS yachts, with strong steel hulls and ultra-reliable technical platforms, have proven themselves in journeys to the polar circle, Greenland, Alaska and Svalbard. A journey to the ice shouldn’t be underestimated, but the rewards of such an expedition are worth it.
Your personal palette Pictured in snow white with charcoal grey highlights, your AMELS 60 is a discreet and elegant global traveller.
INTERIOR DESIGN
The AMELS 60 offers luxury interior areas totalling 324 square metres (3,488 sq ft) over four guest decks with a total volume (Gross Tonnage) of 830.
We invited the team at Studio Indigo to create a design concept for the AMELS 60 interiors. Founded in 2005 by Creative Director Mike Fisher, the London-based studio

Main Saloon
·
Generous ceiling heights of up to 2.2 metres (7 ft 2 inches)
·
55 square-metre Main Saloon (592 sq ft)
The first impression on board is a bright reception area surrounded by big sea views. Studio Indigo took some of Espen Øino’s striking external design elements into the fresh, new interior concept. The objective was to bring the outside in to ensure a unified look throughout the yacht. For example, diagonal styling elements in the shape of the ceiling domes help to accentuate the beam of the interior spaces.
Main Deck Dining Each space has its own distinct character and function. For example, the staircase linking all three decks is celebrated as a dynamic and sculptural form to create a memorable space and aid movement around the yacht.
CENTRAL STAIRCASE The central staircase makes the layout intuitive and accessible. The Main Deck lobby, pictured, connects the Main Saloon with the Owners Suite.
Owners Suite
Forward on Main Deck, the full-beam Owners Suite is a private space to retreat to, while still enjoying magnificent views and ocean breezes with a 7 square-metre folding balcony terrace (75 sq ft). The suite has many layout options to suit your lifestyle. You can also easily personalise the interior spaces to reflect your own character and tastes.

ADJOINING SUITE From the Owners Suite corridor, the 18 square-metre adjoining suite (192 sq ft) offers a multifunctional space that you can tailor to your lifestyle. For example, the stunning views make it an exceptional area for children, VIP guests or as your private office or gym.
Bridge Deck Lounge The Bridge Deck Lounge, bar and aft deck is the hub for dining and entertaining on board. Already sizeable and full of light at almost 60 square metres (630 sq ft), the lounge opens with sliding glass doors to the aft deck outdoor dining area – a total space of 110 square metres of indoor-outdoor heaven (1,184 sq ft).

“Access to the Beach Club – even while underway or stern-to in the marina – integrates the Lower Deck into the complete experience on board.”
Lower Deck Lobby Descending from the central staircase, you look down the Lower Deck corridor past the four suites straight through the glass door to the Beach Club. For guests, the fitness equipment, sauna and of course the sea, are just a few steps away.

HAPPY ENGINES Your yacht’s engines are happiest running at a consistent 80-90 percent load – burning fuel efficiently with a lean mixture. The Hybrid by AMELS system applies the optimum number of engines running at optimum load with batteries to absorb fluctuations in demand – for example peak demands from your air-conditioning, galley or bow thruster. With a steady optimum load, you avoid unnecessary engine load fluctuations and unnecessary starts and stops, so your engines burn fuel efficiently while wear and tear decreases. You save fuel costs, maintenance costs and reduce harmful emissions.
