magine sharing the same devotional with 1.5 million believers in more than 50 languages around the world! The Daily Texts has been living this ecumenical dream for many years. First published in 1731 in Saxony, this little book grew out of a spiritual renewal of the Moravian Church (Unitas Fratrum) that dates back to August 13, 1727. Today, more than 250 years after its first publication, the Daily Texts continues its promise of “a daily message
from God that is new every morning.” Each day includes “watchwords” drawn from Old and New Testament verses. History of the Unity of Brethren Rudolf Rican Originally written in Czech in 1957, this book served as a definitive history of the Unity to mark the 500th anniversary of its founding. In 1992 the English translation by C. Daniel Crews was published by the Moravian Church in North America.
