BAY YOUTH VOICES

BAYBEAT STREET BAND

A fun, pop choir for primary aged children. Sing your favourite songs and learn how to sing harmonies and in a group at the same time.

6.30/7.30 - 9pm Ensemble

8yrs + 6.30 - 7.30pm Beginners

Pay what you want Learn to perform Samba percussion, brass and woodwind in a vibrant carnival band. Play a unique blend of Brazilian, Cuba, North African, Asian, Caribbean and pop-based rhythms and tunes.


YOUNG LEADERS 14 - 21yrs 5 - 7pm Free

It’s the perfect session to gain new, transferable skills like; how to organise gigs, stage management, effective marketing, hands on experience of running the technical side of gigs plus you can meet other young leaders from across the North West. All this and you work towards your Arts Award too! The first three weeks of term will focus on devising music for Holocaust Memorial Day. This years prestigious annual event will be run, written and hosted by young musicians in Lancaster and Morecambe responding to the theme - ‘Torn From Home’- and we need you to make it happen!

LANCASHIRE YOUTH VOCAL ENSEMBLE 14 - 21 yrs 6 - 8pm £1

Make a creative fusion of sound that mixes contemporary music from many different styles, bringing together a cappella harmony singing, beatboxing, rapping and original songwriting. Led by Emma Williams and Ash Murphy.

11 - 18yrs 6.30 - 9.30pm ÂŁ3 Stages is a great place to meet like minded musicians. Our experienced team cover all genres from hip hop to jazz, metal to pop and everything in between. If you want to learn how to play drums or guitar, join your first band, rehearse ready to play gigs or join rock school to get your first taste of writing songs and playing in a band, Stages is the session for you! We will provide support and guidance no matter what stage you are at in your musical career.

FRIDAY NIGHT PROJECT

11-18yrs 6.30 - 8.30pm 50p with free tea and toast! FNP is back for spring and if you are a rapper, vocalist, beatboxer, or beatmaker, this is the session for you. Collaborate with other artists on new tracks and projects or learn how to make your own beats in our new Logic Mac Suite. All this and much more at More Music on a Friday night!
