Happy New Year We are looking forward to welcoming friends old and new to join us for a wonderful season of gigs, events and workshops. Highlights this spring include a visit from our good friend Lemn Sissay, a brilliant poet and performer and recently appointed Chancellor of Manchester University who will be sharing his writing and also leading a creative writing workshop. Lemn is here in a partnership with Lancaster LitFest. We are also delighted to be part of Independent Venue Week staging our own live music all-dayer featuring brilliant local artists. Shake away the winter blues on 30 January. In the Hothouse gallery, we showcase more local talent with exhibitions by Johnny Bean and Alan Outram, curated by Morecambe Artist Colony. As ever there are all kinds of opportunities to make music and play and we are sure that there is something here to excite and to inspire you. As always all I can say is come down to the Hothouse. The music is great and the welcome is warm!
