How To Use Gel Nails

ď ś Artificial nails have become of common use in this age and time. Ladies who want to enhance the appearance of his or her nail can resort to using either silks, acrylics or gel nails. ď śLadies may resort to using this when they have experienced nail trauma, or they want their natural nail to grow longer.

ď ś You will find that there are many salons and beauty parlours that offer these services, if not all. They may however be quite expensive. There is always an option of applying the gel by yourself, but you would have to make sure that you have all the appropriate equipment at your reach.

ď ś Ensure that your nail is natural and free from any nail polish or additions that you had previously put. This enables you to perform a thorough cleaning of any nail and areas surrounding it. ď śThus, trim, file and buff each nail well, and also remove any cuticles.

Once clean, apply the first layer on the surface. This is called the primer. It expels any moisture or oils that may have been left over during the cleaning process, and also acts as an adhesive to the next layer. It has to dry off totally before the next application.

ď ś The next step is to use a brush to apply the nail gel on top of the primer. In most instances, the brush is included in the package. ď śIt is usually long and thin so that you can be able to make long and even movements. Afterwards, place your nail under the UV drying light for 3 to 5 minutes.

ď ś You can apply as many coats as you wish depending on the intensity of the colour you want, and also on the design. The more the number of coats you apply, the longer you will have to take drying it under the UV rays of light. ď śThe reason behind this is that the more gel takes a longer time to dry.

ď ś Buff the surface after all the coats have dried completely. This is to make sure that it is even and there are no bumps or bubbles that spoil the finished look. ď śShould there be any spills of the gel to the sides of the nail, get rid of them using a cuticle pusher. Finally, wash your hands or feet with water.

ď ś The advantage of using gel nails over acrylic type of nail is that they neither have an odour nor cause damage to your preferred spots. They however have the same strength thus last long. Moreover, they have a natural look and feel to them, thus no one can figure out that they are artificial. ď ś Click here for more information on Gele negle and kunstige negle : ď śhttps://www.facebook.com/nailmania.dk
