New Zealand Immigration does not alter documents for visa candidates. We allow translations brought out by: • the Translation Service of the Internal Affairs Department (New Zealand), or • prominent people within the community who are identified to translate documents correctly, or • high commissions or embassies (if the translation has the relevant high commission or embassy seal), or • any other official or private translation business.


More Information About Translation of Supporting Documents Candidates, their members of the family and the licensed immigration expert assisting with the application may not translate or alter documents. Applicants of Temporary entry visa should also provide Immigration Zealand with English translations of all police and medical certificates.
