When bidding on any lot offered by MORPHYβS, the bidder indicates acceptance of the following Terms of Sale. Any participation in the auction binds you to agreement of these terms whether or not you read or understand said terms. LIMITED GUARANTEE
TIMING
There will be no options for refunds of any type beyond 35 calendar days from the auction date. Paying late and thus receiving items late will not change the limitation on the dates above for refund consideration. Please also refer to POST SALE RETURN POLICY at end of terms. FIREARMS β These terms do NOT apply to our firearms auctions. To view the terms and conditions for our Firearms Auctions, please go to: www.morphyauctions.com/firearmterms
MORPHYβS makes every effort to accurately describe all items offered in its sales. The descriptions carry a limited guarantee. It is a guarantee to protect you against major discrepancies that would have a major effect upon the value of the item. Under no circumstances do we guarantee against anything less than a major discrepancy that would have less than a major effect upon value. This limited guarantee covers authenticity, major restoration or repair not described, counterfeits, reproductions or major fabrications not disclosed in the description. Examples of what we do not guarantee against, imperfections, slight damages, handling marks, natural imperfections, undisclosed blemishes, finish differences, wood-to-metal fit issues, surface cracks or chips in wood, dings and dents, bore condition and other similar differences that are inherent in the antiques and collectible industry. All items are sold for display purposes. If electrical, mechanical, or other working parts are inoperable, even if working at the time of sale, we are not liable due to the inherent nature of the age of these antiques and items. It is the bidderβs responsibility (present or absentee bidders) to determine by inspection by themselves or a hired professional the exact condition of each item prior to bidding on the item. Should MORPHYβS deny an authenticity issue dispute of the buyer, and the buyer is not satisfied, the buyer may, at his or her own expense, obtain the written opinion of two mutually agreed upon recognized experts in the field of the disputed item. The final decision of those experts will determine any refund consideration. This limited guarantee is only available to the buyer of record. Please also refer to POST SALE RETURN POLICY at end of terms.
GAMING DEVICES - MORPHYβS may hold these items for up to 5 business days to allow state agencies to verify the buyerβs information. All auction participants are urged to check the legality of possession in and/or shipment of gaming devices to their state of residence. Ownership of gaming devices is prohibited in these states: Alabama, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nebraska, South Carolina, and Tennessee. If you become a high bidder on a gaming item, and you are from one of the prohibited states as listed here: β’ You must pay for your item, β’ You will not be able to take possession of the item (MORPHYβS cannot ship it to you or allow pickup), β’ MORPHYβS will consign the item in your name to the next appropriate auction. If you do not pay for the item in full, MORPHYβS will block you from participating in future auctions. Any gaming device purchased at the auction shall be used for the purpose of display or social entertainment within the private home or residence of the buyer, and such devices shall not, in any event or manner, be exposed to the public for the purpose of gambling or be resold in the state of Nevada without a gaming distribution license. Proof of residence/ID is required for purchase of gaming devices.
Except as stated in the limited guarantee above, MORPHYβS will not be held responsible for typographical errors. Neither we nor the consignor, make any guarantees, warranties, or representation, expressed, or implied, in regard to the property or the correctness of the catalog or other description of the authenticity of authorship, physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, provenance, exhibition, literature or historic relevance of the property or otherwise. It is the bidderβs responsibility to initiate contact with MORPHYβS in request for additional information regarding the items. Submit all questions regarding upcoming auction items at least 48 hours prior to the date of auction. We will make every effort to answer all submitted questions in a timely manner. We will do our best, but cannot promise that questions submitted within 48 hours of the auction date will be answered prior to the auction. The consigner and we make no representation or warranty as to whether the buyer acquires any reproduction rights in the property. All items will be available for preview approximately one (1) month prior to the auction.
SPORTS COLLECTIBLES β’ Return Considerations o MORPHYβs is not responsible for a third party grading company agreeing or disagreeing with our assessment, and we cannot issue refunds or credits if cards do not receive a numerical grade or the exact grade that we describe. MORPHYβs strongly recommends that you personally evaluate any items that you are bidding on, and make your own determination about its grade. MORPHYβS offers no guarantee of grade for uncertified items sold and subsequently submitted to a third-party grading service. o Cards sold referencing a third-party grading service are sold βas isβ without any express or implied warranty. Certain warranties may be available from the grading services, and the Bidder is referred to them for further details: Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), Sportscard Guaranty LLC (SGC), Global Authentics LLC, Beckett Grading Services (BGS), JO Sports, Inc. o MORPHYβS will not accept return of certified items due to possible differences of opinion with respect to the grade offered by any third-party organization, dealer, or service. Grading does not qualify for return evaluation, nor do such complaints constitute a basis to challenge the authenticity of a lot. (continued...)
FIREWORKS β MORPHYβS can only ship Class 1 Division 1.4 and 1.6 Explosives (as described in the following website: http:// environmentalchemistry.com/yogi/hazmat/placards/class1.html) per the 49CFR 173.50 and can only ship these via FedEx. All items not shippable must be picked up by the buyer.
bidder
Terms & Conditions o MORPHYβs shall not be liable for any patent or latent defect or controversy pertaining to or arising from any encapsulated collectible. In any such instance, buyerβs remedy, if any, shall be solely against the service certifying the collectible. o Under extremely limited circumstances related solely to authenticity, such as a highly significant cataloging error, a buyer, who did not bid from the floor, may request MORPHYβS to evaluate voiding a sale. o Lots returned must be completely intact in their original form and undamaged holder, or there will be no credit. Certifications are void and returns are not accepted for any cards removed from their third-party grading holder. o All elements of the MORPHYβS POST-SALE RETURN POLICY apply. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy. β’ On any lot presented with a Letter of Authenticity (βLOAβ) issued by MORPHYβS o The bidder shall solely rely upon the warranties of the authentication provider issuing the Letter or opinion, or on the warranties of the authentication provider of the bidderβs choice. o Warranty inures only to the original buyer. Buyer may not transfer the rights afforded under the LOA, and it is null and void when Buyer transfers or attempts to transfer the lot. o The LOA warranty is valid from date of the auction in which Buyer was awarded the lot to four (4) years after its purchase. o The LOA warranty is valid as to its attribution to the person or entity described or to the lotβs usage, e.g. game worn. o Claim procedure: o Buyer must contact MORPHYβS within the warranty period, prior to submission of the lot as to his intent to make a claim, receive prior approval, and arrange secure shipment. o Buyer must present with the claim, authoritative written evidence that the lot is not authentic as determined by a known expert in the sports field. o If MORPHYβS concurs that the lot is not as represented, Buyer shall be refunded their purchase price. o If the MORPHYβs denies the claim, the Buyer agrees to the AGREEMENT REGARDING GOVERNING LAW, VENUE, AND LEGAL RIGHTS noted herein. o The LOA does not provide for incidental or consequential damages or other indirect damages. Any lot sold with a certificate of authenticity or other warranty from an entity other than Auctioneer or Morphyβs affiliates is subject to such issuing entityβs rules and such conditions are the sole remedy afforded to buyer. β’ In the event MORPHYβs cannot deliver the lot, or subsequently it is established that the lot lacks title, provenance, or authenticity, MORPHYβs liability shall be limited to voiding of the sale and refund of purchase price. In no case shall MORPHYβs liability exceed the winning bid on that lot, which bid shall be deemed for all purposes the value of the lot. After one year has elapsed, MORPHYβS maximum liability shall be limited to any buyerβs premium earned on that lot. β’ Due to changing grading standards over time, differing interpretations, and to possible mishandling of items by subsequent owners, MORPHYβS reserves the right to grade items differently than shown on certificates from any grading service that accompany the items. MORPHYβS also reserves the right to grade items differently than the grades shown in the prior catalog should such items be reconsigned to any future auction. β’ There is a subjectivity to grading, especially the grading of cards. Every effort is made to verify the condition of each lot as it is described. MORPHYβS accepts items for auction after careful scrutiny by not only ourselves, but, when necessary, by other leading authenticators. We cannot guarantee that every card described by us
will in all cases receive exactly the same grade, or even be accepted for grading, from any third-party grading service. Similarly, we cannot guarantee that every card graded by one third-party grading service will in all cases receive exactly the same grade by another third-party grading service. Occasionally a lot description will include the words βwe have submitted,β which is intended to be taken literally and give bidders great confidence that MORPHYβS has not βdone anythingβ to the cards to alter or otherwise improve their appearance and ultimate grade. No warranty, whether expressed or implied, is made with respect to any grade, condition, or other adjectival descriptions, which can and do vary, even among experts. β’ Large Autograph Group Disclaimer: When dealing with a single individual auction lot containing many items, these lots are offered with the explicit understanding that it is possible that there may be a small percentage which are not authentic. When authenticating large lots, such as a collection of 6,000+ signed 3 x 5 cards, or a set of 700+ signed baseball cards, great care has been taken in the authentication process, with all the greater attention focused on any items representing a concentration of value. It is always possible that on rare occasions a secretarial or stamped signature could be missed here or there. Without this disclaimer, as a practical matter, it would not be possible for MORPYβS to offer such lots at all. All bidders bidding on such lots do so with this understanding. β’ Abbreviation/Definition/Condition Key: PR β Poor, GD β Good, VG β Very Good, EX β Excellent, NM β Near Mint, MT β Mint. NOTE: If an item has a multiple grade such as VG-EX, then that item falls somewhere in between those two conditions. GOODS MADE FROM OR CONTAINING MATERIALS FROM PROTECTED SPECIES - MORPHYβS does not accept any responsibility or liability for the sale of items containing materials from protected species or for any omission in marking or labeling goods as containing materials from protected species. Such material includes, but is not limited to, ivory from elephants and walruses, tortoise shell, crocodile skin, whalebone, rhinoceros horn, some species of coral and certain woods. Restrictions on the importation, exportation, sale, transfer, and/or possession of goods containing materials from protected species derive from international, federal, and state laws and regulations promulgated thereunder. Laws include, but are not limited to, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Flora and Fauna (CITES), the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and the Marine Mammals Protection Act (MMPA). States currently restricting trade of protected species include, but are not limited to, California, New York and New Jersey. Prospective buyers are on notice that several countries completely prohibit importation of property made, all or in part, of protected materials. Some countries require special permits, such as a CITES permit, from the relevant regulating authority in the countries of exportation and importation as well. Potential buyers intending to import the property into another country should be familiar with the relevant customs laws and regulations prior to bidding on goods containing material from protected species. Regulations may vary as the U.S. generally prohibits importation of articles containing material(s) from species it has designated endangered or threatened if the articles are less than 100 years old, subject to certain exceptions. It shall be the potential buyerβs sole responsibility to research and satisfy the requirements of any laws and regulations that apply to the import and export of property as described in the aforementioned paragraphs. All buyers agree to comply with any and all domestic and international restrictions on the trade of protected species as a (continued...)
bidder
Terms & Conditions condition of the sale. Please note that the ability to obtain an export license or certificate does not ensure the ability to obtain an import license or certificate in another country, and vice versa. It is the buyerβs responsibility to obtain any export or import licenses and/or certificates as well as any other required documentation. MORPHYβS is not able to assist the buyer in attempting to obtain the appropriate licenses and/or certificates, and there is no assurance that an export license or certificate can be obtained. The inability or delay in obtaining permits, licenses or other permissions to import or export goods containing material from protected species will not constitute a basis for rescission or cancellation of the sale of said goods or the delay in payment of purchased items in accordance with these Bidder Terms and Conditions. JEWELRY AND WATCHES β’ Jewelry Descriptions and Condition Reports: Lots being offered are sold as-is on the day of sale. Condition reports, either written or verbal, are provided as a courtesy only, and are not to be taken as fact or guarantees of condition or quality of the lots. All information provided is the opinion of the specialist at MORPHYβS, including but not limited to weights, grades, color, and clarity. All gemstones and diamonds are measured and graded in their setting unless stated otherwise. All weights and grades are approximate. Buyers wishing to have a grading or gemological report from an independent, internationally recognized laboratory, such as the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the American Gemological Laboratories (AGL), may request one at their own expense or hire an independent adviser of their choosing. β’ Watch Descriptions and Condition Reports: The physical characteristics, timing accuracy or functionality of timepieces cannot be guaranteed, and all items are sold as-is. o Any condition statement reflects the condition of the watch on the date of the report. Condition can change from the time of the report to the day of sale. o Photographs are for identification purposes only. Buyers may not use them as precise indications of size or condition. o The origin or authenticity of all components cannot be guaranteed. o Watches with waterproof or water-resistant cases β MORPHYβS may open cases to develop descriptions, and cannot guarantee that any watch is waterproof or water-resistant at the time of purchase. MORPHYβS recommends that the buyer have a professional watchmaker evaluate the watch at buyerβs expense. o Buyers must be aware that watches may need general service, change of battery, or further repair work for which the buyer is solely responsible. o Dials - All watches have the possibility that after their original date of manufacture they received reconditioning or replacement of dials or elements of the dial such as but not limited to standard or luminescent hour markers, hands, script, date or measurement indices, lacquer, and finish. Buyer is solely responsible for determining and understanding such condition issues. β’ The lack of a condition report does not imply that the item or lot is free from imperfections, defects or wear and tear of the aging process. This includes but is not limited to: deficient stones, needed repair or defects. β’ It is common and generally accepted in the jewelry industry that some diamonds and most gemstones have been enhanced with various treatments to improve their overall appearance. o These treatments include but are not limited to: heating, dying, oiling, laser drilling, HTHP, wax, bleaching, irradiation, resin or polymer impregnation and various other techniques. o Unless stated in the title, it is assumed that one or more
treatments have been performed to the stones. While many treatments are considered permanent, this cannot be guaranteed. o Please note that many treatments cannot be determined without sophisticated laboratory testing. Due to the various laboratories and developing scientific methods for testing, not all reports or certificates will have the same results for treatment type, extent of treatment and stability of treatment. o MORPHYβS makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, as to whether natural stones have been treated or enhanced, whether specifically referenced or not. β’ Laboratory reports may accompany some lots o If a lot is accompanied by certificates or reports from internationally recognized and accepted gemological laboratories, it will be noted in the description. o Copies will be available upon request, with the original going to the successful bidder. o The reports cannot be guaranteed and are provided for informational purposes only. Results on reports may differ from laboratory to laboratory. o MORPHYβS accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, terms or information contained in such certificates or reports. BIDDING RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. The auctioneer alone has the right to reopen the bidding of an item if deemed necessary due to a dispute. If there is a tie bid between the floor and Internet or absentee bid, the floor bid takes precedence. MORPHYβS and its representatives reserve the right to remove those attendees who impede preview and/or the auction. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the auctioneerβs hammer. The buyer will then assume all risk and full responsibility of the lot purchased once ownership has changed. We recommend that you arrange insurance for your items immediately upon becoming the highest bidder. MORPHYβS is not responsible for any errors in bids, omissions of bids, or failure to execute bids and shall have no liability to any bidder for any technical or other failure associated with the internet, absentee bidding, or telephone bidding. β’ ABSENTEE BIDDING - MORPHYβS will accept absentee bids if pre-authorized by mail, fax or through www.morphyauctions. com online. Absentee bidders must use the absentee bid form and clearly mark the lot number, title and maximum bid amount. Absentee bidding forms may be accessed online at www. morphyauctions.com. If there are two (2) identical bids placed on the same item, priority will be given to the first bid received. All bids must be left in increments as explained on our bid form. If a bid is βout of increment,β the auctioneer has the right to round the bid up to the next correct increment. Bidders may preview, register and place bids online through our website, www. morphyauctions.com. Absentee and online bids placed through www.morphyauctions.com will be auto charged to the credit card entered 48 hours after the end of the sale. If you wish to pay by another method please contact us within 48 hours after the sale. Seller(s) agree to allow the Auctioneer to accept and execute absentee bids in a competitive manner for potential buyers and under the MORPHYβS absentee bidding terms and conditions. During the live sale, the auctioneer will execute your absentee bid (continued...)
bidder
Terms & Conditions competitively up to the maximum amount you have indicated. β’ ONLINE BIDDING - Online bidding through www.morphyauctions. com, Live Auctioneers, Invaluable, Proxibid, or other bidding platforms may be available; all Terms and Conditions still apply. A surcharge will be added for third party online platforms. Refer to your bidding platform of choice for the final buyerβs premium. If there is a tie bid between the internet bidding venues and the floor, the floor bid takes precedence. If a credit card has been provided to one of the online bidding platforms, MORPHYβS reserves the right to use and charge the credit card if the winning bidder has not paid via another method by the 7 day term in Payment Terms below. Due to our fast paced auctions and bids coming from floor bidders, phone bidders, internet bidders and absentee bids, the auctioneer has the final word on all item(s) sold. You (the bidder) assume the risk of winning an item online and not having the item actually sell to you. This is due to the final call of the auctioneer and the operator not being able to re-open that lot. Online bidders are responsible for accidental bidding as if they bid normally. β’ BID RESULTS β MORPHYβS will only contact successful bidders. Please allow 24-48 hours post auction to receive your official invoice from MORPHYβS. The invoice will include item, hammer price, premium, packing and handling, shipping, insurance, and any other charges that apply. Please hold phone inquiries regarding bid success until after receiving your invoice. For verifications, MORPHYβS cannot provide winning bid information until the second business day after the auction. MORPHYβS will not provide bidder information to any outside sources. β’ TELEPHONE BIDDING - Requests for phone lines must be received at least three (3) days prior to the auction date. MORPHYβS cannot guarantee phone lines but will make every attempt to accommodate those who wish to participate through that method. Phone lines are provided on a first come first served basis. Please visit www.morphyauctions.com or call 717-335-3435 to request a call from our representatives during the live auction.
BID INCREMENTS
Bid increments listed are a general guideline. Actual increments are at the auctioneerβs discretion. If a lot does not receive a bid of 50% of the low estimate, the lot will be passed by the auctioneer. $0 - $500β¦................$25 $500 - $1,000β¦.........$50 $1,000 - $2,000β¦......$100 $2,000 - $5,000β¦......$250 $5,000 - $10,000....β¦$500 $10,000 +β¦............... Auctioneerβs discretion
RESERVES
The majority of our items are unreserved, but occasionally items may carry a moderate reserve. Please note that when a lot carries a reserve, the reserve is usually somewhere below our low estimate. In the case of a reserved item, the seller has authorized the auctioneer to bid on their behalf until the reserve price is reached.
BUYERβS PREMIUM
A 20% buyerβs premium will be added to all successful bids and is payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase cost. A 3% merchant fee is also automatically applied to all invoices but can be discounted upon payment by cash, check, money order or wire transfer that is received within 7 days from the receipt of the invoice. If the type of payment is split, invoice will reflect the 3% charge for merchant fees on the entire invoice. In addition, a surcharge will be added for certain third party online bidding platforms the bidder
utilizes. Refer to your bidding platform of choice for the final buyerβs premium.
SALES TAX
Lots delivered to you, or your representative are subject to all applicable state and local taxes, unless appropriate permits are on file with MORPHYβS. Bidder agrees to pay MORPHYβS the actual amount of tax due in the event that sales tax is not properly collected due to: 1) an expired, inaccurate, or inappropriate tax certificate or declaration, 2) an incorrect interpretation of the applicable statute, 3) or any other reason. The appropriate form or certificate must be on file at and verified by MORPHYβS five days prior to Auction, or tax must be paid; only if such form or certificate is received by MORPHYβS within 4 days after the Auction can a refund of tax paid be made. Lots from different auctions may not be aggregated for sales tax purposes.
PAYMENT, INTEREST & STORAGE FEES
Any invoice totaling more than $100,000 must be paid within three (3) days. All other merchandise must be paid in full within seven (7) days of the date of the invoice. Payments can be made by going to your account online at www.morphyauctions.com, call 877-968-8880 or mail payment to: Dan Morphy Auctions LLC 2000 N Reading Rd, Denver, PA 17517. This charge is automatically added, but will be discounted if payment is received by cash, check, money order or wire transfer. β’ CHECK - There will be a $30.00 service charge for returned checks. Make checks payable to: Dan Morphy Auctions LLC. MORPHYβS reserves the right to hold items paid for by personal or company check until said check clears (14 days). MORPHYβS has the right to hold all checks over $2,000. Customers who have an established successful buying history with MORPHYβS may be exempt from this requirement. We will accept a personal or company check >$2,000 from a first time buyer if you provide a Bank Letter of Credit, available on our website, www.morphyauctions.com. β’ WIRE TRANSFERS β There will be a $30 charge added to all wire transfers less than $2,000. Please add this amount to your invoice total before sending a wire transfer. In the few situations where a successful bidder does not remit payment when due, MORPHYβS will proceed with the legal steps necessary to protect its interests and will block the bidder from future auction participation.

Terms & Conditions PACKING/SHIPPING
β’ It is the bidderβs responsibility to take shipping, handling, and insurance costs into consideration when bidding on items. β’ BIDDERS PRESENT AND TAKING ITEMS AFTER AUCTION β Since item liability transfers upon a successful bid, items paid for must be packed, transported and/or removed by the buyer at his/her own risk after the close of the sale. We recommend that you arrange insurance for your items immediately upon becoming the highest bidder. If any employee or agent of MORPHYβS shall pack or transport the merchandise, it is fully at the risk and responsibility and expense of the buyer. MORPHYβS shall not be held liable for any loss or damage that may be caused by the said agent or employee. β’ ITEMS NOT PICKED UP THE DAY OF THE SALE β Packaging, shipping, and insurance on all items that MORPHYβS accepts for shipment to locations that can accept shipments will be made available as an added courtesy and at an additional cost. We recommend that you arrange insurance for your items immediately upon becoming the highest bidder. All applicable charges will be applied to the invoice. Shipping will be based on actual costs via FedEx, USPS, or other carriers required based upon the contents of the shipment. Packaging and insurance will vary in cost depending on the items on each invoice. All packages will be shipped with insurance. Standard items packed internally by MORPHYβs will ship seven to fourteen (7-14) business days after payment is received. Oversize and breakable items, which MORPHYβs will indicate on the invoice, will ship based upon the buyerβs arrangement with a 3rd party shipper. MORPHYβs cannot combine standard item shipments with oversize and breakable item shipments. Again, if any employee or agent of MORPHYβS shall pack or transport the merchandise, it is fully at the risk and responsibility and expense of the buyer. MORPHYβS shall not be held liable for any loss or damage that may be caused by the said agent or employee. β’ SHIPPING TERMS - MORPHYβS will ship items to the buyer at the listed address via FedEx or other carriers, FOB Denver, Pennsylvania or FOB other auction locations. Any risk of loss or damage to the item(s) during transit via FedEx, or any other carrier, in excess of the insurance provided by or purchased from MORPHYβS, is at the risk of the buyer. Any additional insurance coverage should be purchased by the buyer through the carrier. Buyer releases MORPHYβs from any and all claims for loss or damage to any item during transit and agrees to pay all costs of defense, including attorneyβs fees, for any claims brought against MORPHYβS for loss or damage occurring during transit. β’ INSURANCE - Shipping insurance is automatically added, which you can decline by contacting us and providing a signed waiver of insurance form. Insurance for all 3rd party shipments must be arranged through that carrier. Insurance provided or purchased through MORPHYβs applies only to shipments to the United States and Canada. Buyers must purchase their own insurance for shipments to other countries. β’ INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS β MORPHYβS has the capability to ship to international bidders. By law, MORPHYβS cannot, and will not, declare lesser values for any international purchases and all shipments will include the invoice with purchase totals including the buyerβs premium and shipping cost. All international bidders are responsible for knowing their countryβs laws on importing items and for paying all customs and duties on the items. β’ 3RD PARTY SHIPPING OVERSIZE ITEMS β Buyers will need to either pick up the items personally or arrange a 3rd party shipping service for oversize items. β’ Dimensional size is length (the longest measurement) + (height x 2) + (width x 2). 1001 - 1941 COCA-COLA CARDBOARD POSTER. Framed: 35 - 1/2β x 23 - 1/2β x 1β. Beautiful poster featuring cowboy and is framed under glass. The condition is spectacular with only the most minor of any edge wear. Condition: 9.7, Near Mint+. 1,500 - 2,500

LOT - 1001
1002 - 1940 STUNNING COCA-COLA HORIZONTAL CARDBOARD POSTER. Framed: 25β x 47β x 1β. Beautifully framed under glass and possibly trimmed from a larger standard size. The visible image measures 20 - 1/2β x 43β. It could also have been a proof for an outdoor billboard as it is mounted on heavy cardboard, according to John, that is 1/4β thick, and this could explain the odd size. The seller John bought it from years ago informed him that it was a proof. By any account, this is a tremendously rare image and it displays wonderfully, with only very light surface wear and few mild rub marks or patterns. It is exceptionally clean and bright and displays no soiling or other types of wear. Condition: 9.4, Near Mint. 2,000 - 3,500
LOT - 1002
1003 - 1939 COCA-COLA CANADIAN CARDBOARD CUTOUT. Framed: 30β x 22β x 1 - 1/2β. Beautifully mounted and framed under glass, this is yet another exceptionally clean and bright piece from John and Charlotteβs collection that displays nearly no wear or marks of mention at all. Condition: 9.9, Near Mint+. 2,000 - 3,500

1004 - 1936 RARE LARGE CARDBOARD COKE POSTER WITH GIRL AT SHIPβS WHEEL. Framed: 29 - 1/2β x 56 - 1/2β x 1β. Framed under glass and exhibits no wear, with only two very minor ripples in upper right corner area in the light cardboard. This poster is unusually beautiful due to the fact that the lithographer employed uniform scattering of tiny silver crystalline powder-like flakes in the final finish coat. It is very subtle, but they do catch the light in a very good way. This is also a very rare poster that has only ever been seen in quite limited quantity, something along the lines of possibly four to eight over the years, if that. This is the example shown in color in Petrettiβs guide. Condition: 9.8, Near Mint+. 2,500 - 5,000

1005 - IMPRESSIVE 1918 COCA-COLA UMBRELLA GIRLS FESTOON. Framed: 37 - 1/2β x 43β x 2 - 1/2β. This one is beautifully framed under glass in somewhat of a compact fashion without the arms being fully extended, but instead tucked around the piece. The condition of this piece is beautiful and it presents as much stronger than what is normally seen, with only a few small edge bends or bumps and no wear or soiling. Condition: 9.6 - 9.8, Near Mint. 2,500 - 5,000
LOT - 1005
1006 - LATE 1930S IMPRESSIVE COCA-COLA CARDBOARD CUTOUT. Framed: 36 - 1/2β x 22 - 1/2β x 1 - 1/2β. This beautiful piece was lithographed in Canada and the bold colors and strong green background definitely serve to make the image pop. The condition is astounding, with only the most minor of any extreme outer edge marks or small nicks and the piece retains its original string hanger. Condition: 9.8, Near Mint+. 2,500 - 5,000

1007 - IMPORTANT 1937 COCA-COLA CARDBOARD WINDOW DISPLAY. Framed: 56β x 38β x 1 - 1/2β. Beautifully framed and matted under glass and complete with its original envelope. This piece is from the collection of Thom Thompson and is one of very few known, being the best condition known. Even the easels on the back of the display have never been opened. There are a few very minor surface scratches and resulting small rubs near the right side border in the red field and little to no marks or wear elsewhere on the piece. The colors are bright and vivid and the artwork is stunning and by the well known artist Hayden Hayden. Condition: 9.3 - 9.6, Near Mint. 3,000 - 6,000

1008 - IMPRESSIVE 1928 COCA-COLA BOTTLE DISPLAY. Framed: 23β x 20 - 1/2β x 1 - 1/2β. Framed under glass and mounted with mylar corners, this is a rare and wonderful piece. The condition is stellar with strong, unfaded colors and only light edge wear with the most minor of a few surface marks. The two girls shown with bottles are highly evocative of the period during which this piece was used and of course the large bottom tab of the piece folds forward to form a shelf upon which to sit the Coke bottle, which would have been secured by the simple loop. Condition: 9.3 - 9.6, Near Mint. 4,000 - 8,000

1009 - 1939 RARE AND STUNNING GIRL IN MOONLIGHT POSTER. Framed: 31 - 1/2β x 61β x 1 - 1/4β. This large horizontal is exceedingly rare and the best example known of only a few to ever surface - when I say a few, I mean less than five and only three are known to have been seen publicly. The only manufacturing defects are condition issues with this poster, tremendously minor in scope and would include a few tiny dots of surface rubs, a light surface mark or hairline scratch or two, and one or two minor lamination wrinkles from the manufacturing process. Elsewhere, only the lightest of edge wear or marks. This piece was acquired over 20 years ago by John at at a 5 figure price. Condition: 9.6 - 9.8, Near Mint - Near Mint+. 6,000 - 12,000

1010 - CIRCA 1926 IMPRESSIVE COCA-COLA CARDBOARD CUTOUT. Framed: 37β x 26β x 1β. Even though this piece has several minor faults, it is incredibly hard to find and the condition makes it present wonderfully. It is nicely matted and framed under glass so that all the edges are visible. The three shortcomings of any note are a very shallow bend with surface wrinkle in the lower left corner, a small bump in the upper right corner of the logo sign, and the upper left side of the border of the logo sign has been ever so slightly trimmed. Additionally, very slight trimming has occurred across the bottom of the poster. Still, it presents as the most impressive example of a rare sign. This piece was displayed in Roddy Goodmanβs office, behind his desk in Knoxville, Tennessee. He led the standards committee for Coca-Cola around this period. Condition: 8.7 - 8.9, Excellent+. 3,000 - 6,000 20

The colors are bold and vivid on this poster, which is beautifully mounted and secured under glass and boasts a level of condition that one could never improve upon, with only very light extreme outer edge wear. 1012 - IMPRESSIVE 1947 LARGE SPRITE BOY DISPLAY. Largest: 52 - 1/2β x 33 - 1/2β x 1β. Three large individual cardboard die-cuts combine to make a truly eye-popping display. Iβve only seen a few sets of these over the years and none approach the level of this condition, which is nearly without fault or blemish. On the three large pieces in total, only one or two bends or wrinkles or closed surface tears exist in total. The colors are bright and vibrant with no fading and every piece is beautifully secured with mylar corners and mounted in frames under plexiglass. This is a rare chance to add a dynamic display to your collection. Condition: 9.8 - 9.9, Near Mint+. 2,000 - 3,500

Being what is a very difficult mirror to find, the bright colors, shine and condition put this example right among the top of those known. 1039 - COCA-COLA CHEWING GUM SHIPPING BOX LABEL. 12β x 7β. Circa 1912, this paper label would have served as a wrapper for the box that held 20 packs of gum. This is an exceedingly rare survivor and a piece you are not likely to encounter elsewhere. The colors are bright and unfaded and the label has only very light edge wear, a 4β paper wrinkle on the right side, and 2 very short closed tears at the top. βPEPSIN GUMβ is written in pencil at the bottom of the label and a few pencil erasures are visible in the lower-right area, which all indicate this was probably a printerβs proof. 1045 - CIRCA 1907 COCA-COLA PEPSIN GUM BOOKLET. Largest: 11 - 3/4β x 10 - 1/4β x 1β. This booklet is quite unusual and possibly unique and features an early iteration of the βDutch Boyβ character which was used to promote the sale of the gum. We have never seen the booklet and have only seen a small die-cut of the boy in this similar format and position one time. The die-cut we refer to has never been offered at public auction. This booklet is quite interesting and amusing from the standpoint of the content. It has numerous pages with interesting illustrations featuring the boy and the gum pack and talks about such topics as chewing gum as an aid to health. It features prose and poetry inside as well as comments by folks who performed chemical analysis of the gum and made comments pertaining to that. The interior of the book is practically new and unused, while the cover displays some light wear and soiling and two small bends and crease lines are evident at the boys hand with the gum pack. The piece is intended to have his hand totally tucked into his pocket, only revealing the gum pack when the booklet is open. From the Thom Thompson collection and believed to be the only known example! Condition: 8.5 - 9.0, Excellent+. 3,000 - 6,000

Interesting to note is that the words βROOT BEERβ are still visible on the back of the dispenser and were hand painted years ago as this dispenser was undoubtedly put into service to dispense something other than its original product. Those letters are neat from a historical perspective but could easily be removed if desired. The ball pump fits and seats nicely. From the Bob Lyons collection. Condition: Near Mint. 4,000 - 8,000

The condition is beautiful and nearly perfect as manufactured. There are gold highlights around the embossed lettering. A few minuscule glass nicks exist on the inside of the top lip and at a couple of places around the base, but have virtually no impact on condition or display and are mentioned only for accuracy. The ball pump seats and fits perfectly. Condition: Near Mint. 2,000 - 3,000

1100 - CHERRY SMASH YELLOW VERSION SYRUP DISPENSER. 15 - 1/2β x 10β x 10β. This is yet another variation of Cherry Smash featuring five cents on the sides with yellow lettering. It displays very well and has an original marked pump. There is only very moderate wear or marks on the piece with evidence of a surface repair around the word βALWAYSβ on one side with some clear coating in that area. The repair was very well done and has little effect on overall display. Condition: Excellent. 1,500 - 2,500 1101 - DRINK FOWLERβS ROOT BEER SYRUP DISPENSER. 15 - 1/2β x 10 - 1/2β x 10 1/2β. 1103 - DRINK PARFAY SYRUP DISPENSER. 14β x 8 - 1/2β x 8 - 1/2β. This unusual form of a dispenser is very enjoyable as a variation on the standard style, and this is a nice example. It only shows evidence of moderate use with some resulting wear on the gold banding, as well as a stress surface crack around the βKβ of βDRINKβ on one side and four or five surface hairlines around the base of the piece. Those are particularly short and minor in nature and may only be presenting as craze lines with staining. Condition: Very Good+ - Excellent. 800 - 1,200 1104 - 1914 THE WILLYβS OVERLAND CO. CARDBOARD CUTOUT. Framed: 8 - 1/4β x 12 - 1/4β x 1β. Outstanding colors and graphics exist on this piece with an attractive Western scene presented. The car and passengers is a separate piece of cardboard which folds out to protrude roughly one inch from the piece and makes a nice dimensional display. The back of the piece features wording and advertising and the motto βAll That Money Can Buy or Man Could Wantβ. The condition and colors are spectacular with little to no wear. This is a very clean example with only some very light variety of soiling mostly in the form of a few small darker dots and a couple of most minor surface rubs with little to no color disruption. A few very mild and minor bends are seen upon close inspection in two places, as well as at the very bottom of the heel of her shoe. Displays beautifully. The exact age of this clock is unknown and the bezel is a bit off-center and looks as though it was integrated into the wooden frame at a later time, possibly indicating some sort of marriage of two clocks together. There is also evidence of old engraving on the wooden frame at the top of the clock that does not match the name on the clock face. The piece exhibits light to moderate overall wear. Includes key. This is a beautiful and bright example with no rim chips or nicks, very strong and uniform acid-etching, and only a small series of very light surface scratches on the lower left side of the glass. Those scratches certainly donβt stand out and take the form of a dot pattern in a single line and few collectors would strongly note the issue. 1179 - VERY RARE CIRCA 1900 COCA-COLA PEWTER GLASS HOLDER. 3β x 2 - 1/2β x 3 - 1/2β. This unique piece could easily pre-date 1900 and it is stamped with a maker on the bottom. The letters that are visible read as β...WN MFG. CO.β, and underneath that, visible are β... RUPLE PLATEβ. After research by John, he determined this means Crown Mfg. Co., quadruple plate. Due to the construction base being pewter, the holder is somewhat misshapen, however this in no way takes away from the historical importance and rarity of the item. The handle is likely made of another metal type and is heavily and attractively embossed. Most folks would grade this item higher due to no use being apparent. 1247 - RARE 1910 COCA-COLA CROWN ARTWORK. 5β x 3β. This rare bottlecap sketch is on a card roughly the size of a postcard and has been laminated under plastic years ago. The sketch was made by the Crown Cork & Seal Company in January of 1910 and the design was approved by a man whose signature appears in the lower-right corner on the front of the card. On the back of the card are some specifications mainly denoting that the colors would be red and white and that the liner would be natural cork. The final approval was given on October 2nd, 1911. The condition is very strong and well preserved due to the lamination. This is an interesting and historical item relative to Coca-Cola Crowns of the time period. This item was acquired from the Goldstein collection. Condition: 8.5 - 9.0, Excellent+. 1,750 - 3,500 1248 - LOT OF 2: CIRCA 1912 COCA-COLA SPEARMINT GUM WRAPPERS. 5 - 1/2β x 4 - 1/2β x 1β. The gum wrapper is from the collection of Thom Thompson and was purchased from Dave Caldwell in June of 1988 by Thom. This was likely a printerβs proof as there are a few staple holes in the label, with only very light wear otherwise. That fact, coupled with the fact it is advertising spearmint gum makes it a rare find. Also included in this lot is a 25-point coupon good for premiums off the current list of the period in 1924. The certificate represented the return of 24 Coca-Cola bottles in their case. It also could well have been a printerβs copy, since the date September 1, 1924 is stamped on the back. Only mild age toning and one very short edge tear, which is closed. Condition: 8.7 - 9.2, Excellent+. 800 - 1,400

This is the single-sided version with heavy graphics around the border which really frame and accent the piece more so than in the smaller versions. The piece only exhibits the mildest of any surface wear with a very faint stain around the word βMARKβ in a few spots. We donβt believe that you would be able to improve upon the condition on this piece at all easily in todayβs collectorβs world. 1333 - 1930S OR LATER EXECUTIVE COCA-COLA PULLMATCH ASHTRAY. 7β x 6 - 1/2β x 6 - 1/2β. There are some slight questions as to the age and authenticity of this piece due to the fact that the bottle appears to be later than a 1930s or 1940s style bottle. The shade topper on the piece and the knob do appear authentic in every respect. The Coca-Cola decals are very evenly spaced and exhibit crazing that can only come about from true age in our opinion. There is a manβs name βS. P. MURRELβ engraved nicely in block lettering on the shade topper. If it can be proven that he was a Coke employee, that would certainly serve to authenticate the base and the shade topper, leaving only the question of the bottle. The executive version of this piece was a chrome-plated item, which is represented exactly by the shade topper and the base, both with a bakelite knob and matching bakelite feet on the bottom tray. The lot includes an old brochure promoting executive pullmatch ashtrays. Condition: 8.5 - 9.0, Excellent. 1,500 - 3,000

Very clean and classic is this barrel dispenser with logo on both sides. Included is what appears to be its original pump with marked cap. There is only one small 1 - 1/2β long running hairline crack on the top of the piece emanating from the lip and the expected overall normal crazing is obvious in a continuous pattern on this inside and outside, with some resulting syrup staining from use over the years. 1455 - 50 YEARS OF NOSTALGIA PRINT - 50TH ANNIVERSARY GIRLS. Framed: 41 - 1/2β x 24 - 1/2β x 1 - 1/2β. In the 1990s, John acquired a number of these Meisel prints from a Coca-Cola bottler in Knoxville, Tennessee. Like most bottlers, he displayed those in the offices of his bottling plant. They were made available to bottlers in 1976 by the company, and 30 different variations were offered to the bottlers, all with different images. Most of the images are pulled from signs, posters, and other print advertising that the company used over its history up to that point, and these served as wonderful reminders and visual verification of the quality of the art that the Coca-Cola Company employed in their advertising over the successful history of the company. It was intended that the bottlers would use the prints in 1976, which was a big year for 75th anniversary celebrations. They were not inexpensive at the time they were produced and typically ranged in price from $100 - $400 each. There were likely not many of them produced compared to the cheaper throwaway items from the same time period. Concerning the posters themselves and the options to the bottler, they could have been purchased as 30 different color enlargements which were mounted on art board and lacquer sprayed for the initial offered price of $2500. Another option was 30 different color enlargements bonded to canvas and mounted on stretcher frames. They were then lacquer sprayed and the result was a textured finish due to the underlying canvas and what many people have mistaken over the years for oil paintings. That version is what we are offering from John and Charlotteβs collection. The cost of 30 enlargements with this process was $3200 to the bottler. Finally, they were available as individual prints employing either production technique. Unless noted, all of the following lots are in excellent to near mint condition with little to no overall wear and most are framed without glass because of the textured finish. 50 - 200 LOT - 1455
