1001 - LOT OF 4: SHEA-BOCQUERAZ KENTUCKY STRAIGHT WHISKEY SIGNS.

Largest Framed: 28” x 23 - 1/2” x 2 - 1/4”. Individually framed advertising for the Shea-Bocqueraz Company “Old Tea Cup” & “Springfield” brands of Whisky. Four different beautifully dressed women which appear to depict the seasons of the year. Individually framed and not matching. Some signs of wear with light creases and scratches, one piece shows a minor water stain to bottom edge. (Very Good). 400 - 800

1002 - LOT OF 2: GREEN RIVER WHISKEY ITEMS.

Frame: 22 - 1/2” x 27 - 1/2”. This is a lot of two great Green River Whiskey advertising products. The first is a Green River Whiskey poster in original frame, marked for the distillers and also for the lithographer out of Brooklyn, New York. There are some areas of paper loss, primarily to the white outside border. The inside playfield is in very good condition, showing a scratch underneath the right hoof of the horse, as well as some scratches in the upper left-hand corner. The second item is a 3D composition display, showing the Green River Man and his horse, carrying a canteen marked for Green River. (7.5). 1,000 - 2,000

1003 - FANTASTIC REVERSE GLASS PAINTED SIGN OF HOFFMAN HOUSE RYE.

1” x 14 - 1/2” x 12 - 1/2”. This is a fantastic small format reverse painted glass convex sign advertising the H. F. Corbin Company in Cincinnati, “The Original Hoffman House Rye”, with a great image of nudes on the front. The sign appears to be unused with no areas of lifting to the paint and no discernible areas of restoration. (9.2 - 9.5). 800 - 1,200

1004 - MITCHELL’S IRISH WHISKEY CARDBOARD ADVERTISEMENT.

Frame: 37 - 1/2” x 28”. Beautiful Mitchells cardboard lithograph. There is some staining and areas of damage to the cardboard along the edges but the main display field has bright color and very little signs of wear. This piece is in excellent displayable condition, with a nice frame added to it. (7.0). 750 - 1,500

1005 - CARLINGS ALE TIN OVER CARDBOARD SIGN.

13” x 20”. This is a fantastic tin over cardboard beer sign from the Brewing Corporation of America out of Cleveland, Ohio advertising for Carlings Ale. Depicts a group of early policemen all enjoying their mug of Carlings Ale. Shows some warping to the cardboard backing. Front tin sign shows some areas of scratching in the lower right-hand corner, as well as to the outside edges. There is one noticeable scratch above the head of the third policeman from the left. Sign has great color and shine and there is nothing in the condition that subtracts from the overall appearance. (8.0 - 8.25) 500 - 1,000

15 - 1/2” x 19 - 1/2”. Tin advertising sign for Smiths Special Whisky. A great vintage graphic sign from the 1950’s. Shows signs of wear, some discoloration to the paint and would be improved with cleaning. (8.0). 200 - 400

1007 - MONTICELLO DISTILLERY COMPANY WHISKEY TIN DIE-CUT SIGN.

28” x 38 - 3/4”. Founded 1789. Iconic scenery of early Americans celebrating at the home of Thomas Jefferson. Good, bright colors and good images. Multiple areas of scratching and scuffing. One area of surface rust and paint loss to middle-lower section. (Good). 1,600 - 3,000

1008 - FRAMED BROWN FORMAN CO DISTILLERY LITHOGRAPHED TIN AD.

Frame: 28 - 1/4” x 35 - 1/2”. Stunning graphics, bright colors and in absolute near mint condition is this Brown Forman Company distillery lithographed tin sign. Housed in a stunning, what appears to be a period correct, burl wood frame with ornate carving placed on all four corners adding to the overall appearance. Shows gentleman drinker smoking cigar, adorned in a diamond ring along a long wooden bar, with the barkeep serving the product, Brown Forman Company Whiskey. National Cash Register in the background, script says “A Pleasant Reminder”, “I told you so the last trip.” and “It’s a credit to Old Kentucky.”. There is one 3/4” scratch in the upper right-hand corner, some very light surface scratching in the upper left-hand corner, none of which distracts from this powerful image. Stamped in the bottom left-hand corner “Chas. W. Shonk Co. Litho, Chicago.”. Founded in 1870 the Brown Forman Co. is still in operation today and donates generously to many charitable causes. This is a very rare iconic saloon advertisement and would be a fantastic addition to any collection. (9.2). 5,000 - 10,000

1009 - UR-UHLEY LIQUOR CONVEX PORCELAIN ADVERTISING SIGN.

19 - 1/2” x 13”. SSP. An outstanding example of this sign from Ur-Uhley Liquors. Sign shows outstanding color & gloss throughout the field with no chipping as well as super clean graphics. Sign shows a few very minor areas of surface scratching in the convex field but overall excellent throughout. The outer edge is also in excellent condition showing just a few minor areas of wear at the corners. Overall a tough to improve upon example of this unique and beautiful sign, most likely a New Old Stock example. (9.0). 300 - 600

1010 - FRAMED COBLENTZ & LEVY WHISKEY AD.

Frame: 23 - 1/2” x 18 - 1/2”. A beautiful heavy paper lithograph with metal bands top and bottom, actual gold glitter on pretty girl’s dress. The risque woman being held by two gentlemen suiters, blinding one gentleman while kissing the other, stating “Pleasing to the Taste”. Deep, rich red colors, bright whites and pastels, a very strong image. There is only one 1/2” barely noticeable crease in the top-middle. Hard to find a better image. 1011 - REPLICA PLAQUE OF THE EARLY TIMES DISTILLERY.

Frame: 45 - 1/4” x 37” x 4 - 1/4”. Amazing depiction of Early Time workers working in an old still. This is an excellent 3D mold plaque made out of a ceramic material and painted. The colors are strong, but does have some signs of age and wear. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. (7.5). 1,000 - 2,000

1012 - CADILLAC RYE PAPER ADVERTISEMENT.

Frame: 28 - 1/2” x 34 - 1/2”. This is an outstanding graphical piece, highlighting The A. Marymont Co. out of Detroit. The piece shows some areas of water damage, a few tiny pin-prick sized holes in the field and a rip at the bottom of the piece between the “A” and “M” in “Marymont”. It is otherwise an excellent example of early 1900’s advertising, and displays great with a newly-added frame. (7.0). 1,000 - 2,000

1013 - FRAMED OLD PRENTICE REVERSE CONVEX GLASS SIGN.

Frame: 28” x 22” x 3 - 1/2”. This is an incredible sign with deep rich colors and a great image. The sign is believed to be made by Dawes Mfg. Co. Pittsburg, Pa. It is in excellent condition with only light wear, no signs of lifting paint, cracking or fading. The extremely ornate gesso frame is adorned with a fantastic iconic American eagle, also free of any type of damage or repair, most all figural gesso frames commonly have some type of wear. A wonderful piece of early whisky adverting and in impeccable condition. Extremely rare and has “The Look”. Never a need to upgrade this piece! (Excellent). 5,000 - 10,000
