Aron Abel, born and raised on St. Croix, comes from a distinguished boating and engineering family in Frederiksted. Growing up, his family was fortunate to have boats that placed among the fastest in the Frederiksted Festival boat races every year.

After graduating from Polytechnic Institute in New York, he spent the next 20 years in New Jersey using what he learned in “real world” management jobs before returning to St. Croix to start Island Kayak Sailing Adventures (IKSA). Because of his life-long love of fishing, boating, and water sports, Aron’s mission is to share his passion with those who want to (re)discover St. Croix from a different perspective!

Closer to shore, try our Eclipse Stepper board, a combination of peddling like a bike, balancing, and walking at the same time. It looks easy, but many find themselves falling in the blue over and over again until they get the hang of it. This is another great low-impact workout for your legs, but fun just the same. A great activity for the whole family—even the dog can come along!
