St. Croix is such a wonderful place to live and work. My wife (Caroline) and I are thrilled to bring our “Goat” family down from Put-in-Bay, Ohio each winter season. This will be our fourth season of service at our Coakley Bay location.

We are very thankful to all of our guests who have become island friends. That is the fun part of our business, and we look forward to meeting more of our island neighbors. We are proud of our staff and the menu that we offer, we hope that you will enjoy them too!

Our lunch menu features “from scratch made to order” soups, salads and sandwiches. Our delicious appetizers are available all day. Enjoy several wonderful options including escargot, oysters Rockefeller and crab deviled eggs.

Dinner entrees include local fresh fish specials, “prime” hand cut steaks and a wide variety of pasta dishes. In house desserts, wonderful cocktails and a thoughtful wine list will make every visit to The Goat special.

I have enjoyed working in the restaurant business for the past forty-one years. At fourteen I worked at my first fine dining restaurant in Canton, Ohio as a bus boy. I climbed my way up to dish washer! It has been an interesting journey to say the least! How very special to find ourselves landing on St Croix. It is a privilege to be a part of the restaurant scene here, with so many outstanding food trucks and wonderful restaurants.
