Data collection and incentives
4.1 How are the results of the health assessments and biometric screenings used to drive health promotion initiatives? (250 max word count) Health and Biometrics screenings play a key role in strategic wellness planning by shaping the health and wellness topics focused on each year. Per results at each location, targeted action plans are created to spearhead the greatest opportunities of health improvement. For example, this past year the Company targeted cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure based on the biometrics and health screening results. Initiatives surrounding weight management, exercise, and nutrition were put in place to influence positive change. Specifically, an on-site blood pressure machine was installed to create easy access for employees to track their blood pressure, the "Race 2 Fit" Competition encouraged weight loss and fitness, Awareness Months were observed with activities and prizes, and focused communication was distributed via flyers, newsletters and monthly wellness lunch-and-learn seminars.
4.2 How have you gathered feedback and suggestions to enhance your wellness program (focus groups, surveys, testimonials, etc.)? How have you incorporated these to improve the program? (250 max word count) Turnberry Associates values the opinions of all employees and elicits feedback in a variety of ways. Employee feedback is gathered by members of the global "Turnberry Cares" and Health & Safety Committees and is presented for discussion each month. With the employees’ voice at the table, items are put into immediate action. In addition, the Company surveys employees at each event and seminar to ensure the planned initiatives are engaging and promote topics of worth. Lastly, the annual Company Employee Engagement/Opinion Survey includes an extensive benefits and wellness section to gather candid and anonymous feedback regarding well-being. With a 90% participation rate, this is the greatest opportunity to get a global perspective of the needs and wants of all employees regarding wellness. The data collected is shared with Executives and Senior Leadership and utilized to create yearly action plans and execute of applicable programs.
