Maynard is a full-service law firm of more than 300 attorneys across a national footprint, which as of April 2022, now includes Orlando. Swann Hadley Stump Dietrich & Spears, P.A., an AV-rated, longstanding fixture in Florida’s legal, business, and political scene, merged into Maynard. This union serves as the latest market extension for Maynard, with the new Central Florida location serving as the fourteenth o ce in Maynard’s national practice.
With the merger, Maynard also gained five talented female attorneys, further diversifying and enriching the Firm.
Joining Maynard’s Real Estate practice from Swann Hadley are Sharon Abner, Karen Brown, and Leigh Williams. Their combined experience covers commercial real estate and complex residential transactions, sophisticated financing for banks and developers, formation of corporate entities, and asset and stock acquisitions and sales. Aimee Hitchner joins the Firm’s Trust, Estates, Fiduciaries & Family Business practice bringing almost 20 years of experience counseling clients on asset protection and leaving a legacy.
In addition, Maynard welcomes Mya Hatchette, a former Litigation CoChair with another Central Florida firm. Mya will lead the Firm’s Florida Management Committee, focusing on continued growth throughout the State of Florida.
Moving forward, Maynard will build on the synergies and collective strength generated by these additions, broadening and deepening the Firm’s work within the real estate, banking, and finance sectors.
Additionally, the Firm will look to expand opportunities in prominent, national practice areas such as Government Solutions, Insurance, and Securities and Financial Services Litigation. With expertise and experience coming from other Maynard o ces in Nashville, TN, Huntsville, AL, San Francisco, CA, and Washington D.C., the Firm will look to compellingly create opportunities within the Hospitality, Technology, and Aerospace and Defense sectors.
