Welcome to Morton Fraser's Agricultural and Rural Property Team March 2020 Bulletin As we move closer towards Spring and the hopes for better weather, now is also a good time to reflect on a very busy start to the year and plan for what is to come over the next quarter. Following the UK's departure from the European Union on the 31st of January, Brexit will, of course, be at the forefront of most of our minds. As we enter what will be a transitional year in many respects, we will keep you updated on post-Brexit developments affecting the agricultural and farming sector in future issues of the Bulletin. In Team news, Anna Reilly has left us to join the firm's Construction Team for the next 6 months of her traineeship - we wish her all the best! Our new Trainee Solicitor, Elizabeth Holehouse, has joined our team and we very much look forward to working with Elizabeth as she settles into our team. Lastly, the Team has a busy schedule ahead attending various events and seminars in the coming months. The first of these is a seminar hosted at our Edinburgh office by Simon Hart of RTS Ltd on the forestry sector in Scotland.
