ACAS CODE OF PRACTICE ON DISCIPLINARY AND GRIEVANCE The ACAS Code of Practice on Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures provides a guide for “expected” practice which employers should follow. If your employer does not follow this code it can be referred to in subsequent Tribunal proceedings and the Tribunal has the power to award an increase of up to 25% on any compensatory award where the employer has unreasonably failed to follow the ACAS Code.
