BRENDAN BONNER & MAX MCGUIRE How is coastal New England culture represented through seafood and how is it represented state to state?

Traveling to Block Island and going on a road trip to New Hampshire, Max and Brendan sampled a wide variety of New England favorites and learned about their origins.

HENRY ADAMY How can I use my knowledge of music and my experience as a coach to help the kids at Cozy Corner prepare a fun program for their graduation ceremony?

Teaching music and art, as well as helping with anything else needed, Henry learned about the challenges of working with children at Cozy Corner, a local child care center.

G I A N N A VA R E L A How can I further my passion for and knowledge of art and mental health by holding an art therapy workshop for the MB community?

“I gained a passion for art at a young age, and it became increasingly important to me when I was diagnosed with depression and social anxiety disorder freshman year, as it served as a safe haven from the struggles I experienced in my daily life.

As an advocate for mental health and wellness, I thought what better way to combine my interests and inform my peers about the benefits of active art-making by researching art therapy and hosting a workshop for the MB community.�

JOHN MAX PETRARCA & SHAAN HOSSAIN How can we further our understanding of math and physics by applying what we’ve learned in the classroom to modify and improve a motorcycle’s performance?

Starting with a broken-down, unusable motorcycle, John Max and Shaan built a fully working motorcycle by working with expert mechanics and carefully replacing parts.

MAX HOROWITZ & MARCO DINAPOLI How can we use our knowledge of nutrition and health to make a nutrition bar?

With the help of a nutritionist, and some math, Max and Marco were able to produce their own custom protein bars.

Rich in nutrients and delicious, their product was entirely custom made to perfectly fit their criteria.

SENIOR PROJECTS “The intent of the senior project is to give seniors the chance to pursue an endeavor, continue, in greater depth, to expand their knowledge of a topic studied, or to connect their learning at MB to serve the larger community. In any endeavor, the commitment is rigorous in terms of effort, study, and work.� This magazine is the senior project of Evan Daniels. It involved collaboration with many other students, as well as visits to their senior projects.
