This group of patients is happy with their quality of care, and ease of access to information and excellent communication from their physicians. The survey shows that 52% of the patients are very interested in using the new system but have not been encouraged by their physicians. It rests with the physicians to get more patients interested in EHRs and actually use them. Thus a large part of the success of EMRs depends on the physicians.
