Urban Design Project (Madaba, Scenery Through The Ages)

Redesigning the city center of Madaba to make it more suitable for tourism by revamping streets, building facades, and creating green spaces can greatly enhance the appeal of the city to visitors By implementing some strategies, the urban redesign of Madaba’s city center would create an attractive, pedestrianfriendly, and culturally vibrant destination for tourists. It would enhance the overall visitor experience, generate economic opportunities, and contribute to the city’s sustainable development.

Madaba Governorate is located to the south of the capital Amman, about 35 km away, and it rises approximately 774 meters above sea level. The history of this city dates back to the Iron Age (1200-1160)

BC. The governorate includes two districts (Madaba Kasbah District, Thiban District) and ve districts (Greena District, Ma'in District, Al-Faisaliah District, Al-Arid District, Malih District) and 7 municipalities.
