PROMX READY TO ROCK GILLMAN, SOUTH AUSTRALIA

The Penrite ProMX Championship, presented by AMX Superstores (ProMX) will bring explosive on track action to Gillman, SA, for round 3 of the series this Sunday, May 30. A record crowd is expected for the event as for the first time in recent memory, national motocross will return to the Adelaide suburbs with the Gillman circuit being located just 17km northwest of the city CBD. Fresh off the success of Round 2 in Canberra that saw incredible bar to bar action all day long across THOR MX1, Pirelli MX2 and Maxxis MX3, the depth in all classes in the ProMX Championship is here to stay and will provide incredible entertainment for race fans who will flock to the Gillman circuit from all over the country. With Canberra providing a hard packed and extremely fast racetrack for the nation’s elite riders, Gillman will showcase the third different terrain type in as many rounds, where the red based loamy soil of SA will treat the riders and fans to deep ruts, big bumps and high flying action.

PROMX READY TO ROCK GILLMAN, SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Thousands of race fans witnessed incredible victories from Luke Clout in THOR MX1, Kyle Webster in Pirelli MX2 and Blake Fox in Maxxis MX3 at Canberra and the stage is now set for an all-out battle for the win at Gillman.

The riders will favour the popular conditions the SA dirt brings to the series and will undoubtedly twist the throttle to take the win and keep their ProMX Championship dreams alive. Only 15 points cover the top 6 riders in the MX1 class with Regan Duffy 7 points ahead of Todd Waters, who is 5 points ahead of Hayden Melross in third.

In the MX2 class Kyle Webster has a 31 point lead over Rhys Budd who is 2 points ahead of Jesse Dobson.

In the MX3 class it is Blake Fox who leads the class with a 12 point gap to Rider Kingsford and Ben Novak a further 9 points back. Returning for round 3 will also be the fast and furious 125 2 Stroke Cup class which sees Dylan Long and Jack Simpson tied on 47 points each, and Josh McLean a further 11 points behind.
