ROLE | PRODUCTION: : Design | Sketchup / 3Dmax-Vray NOTES: The design strategy brought together recycling and prefabrication together with urban revitalization. Celebrating a fully open parking garage as the heart of the TOD instead of a necessary evil. the proposed skin involves modulated factory pre fabricated insulated panels utilizing the abundant shipping container siding from nearby Port Elizabeth. ROLE | PRODUCTION: : Design | Sketchup / 3Dmax / Adobe CS NOTES: The design strategy proposed creating a (Live + Work + Play) environment on both an urban and architectural scales as a landmark for the new business downtown and architecture design strategy. The Prefab process proposed connecting to the railroad for the off site production of major building skin and modular units and transporting by train thus allowing a historical connection, all year production even during extreme Fargo winter weather. We believed that this brought back the rail town history of Fargo.

ROLE | PRODUCTION: Design and Documentation | Revit lead / 3Dmax / Adobe CS AWARDS: AIA PA Honor Award 2009 AIA Phila. Honorable Mention NOTES: The design strategy involved wrapping an existing parking garage at Steven's Institute of Technology with an academic hall, providing research spaces, robotics engineering testing and faculty offices for a section of the engineering group. The existing roof reconfiguration provided an open green roof and waterfront terrace for the faculty lounge and dining area with access from the adjacent campus buildings and the street.

ROLE | PRODUCTION: Design and Documentation | Revit / Sketchup / Adobe CS AWARDS: USGBC LEED Gold NJ Smart Growth Award '08 NOTES: The sustainable focus of the design strategy is expressed in the 35' tall green Biowall as the heart of several sustainable systems and finishes which transformed the space to reflect to the foundation's visitors and staff its environmental message in both preaching and practice.

ROLE | PRODUCTION: : Design And Documentation Revit / 3Dmax / Adobe CS / Sketchup / CAD NOTES: Fraser Centre is a mixed use development that proposed creating a landmark for downtown State College. The project includes 2 levels of parking, street level retail, nine theater cineplex and 48 market rate condominiums. The design strategy formally and functionally creates several entry points and circulation sequences for the various user types.

TYLER SCHOOL AT TEMPLE
ROLE | PRODUCTION: : Detailing, Documentation & Coordination AutoCAD/ 3Dmax / Adobe CS / NOTES: Tyler of School of Art new campus was a joint venture between Carlos Himmenez Studio and H2L2 Architects. The H2L2 Team prepared design development as well as executed the construction documentation and administration. The Tyler School of Art consists of art studios, exhibition spaces, administrative spaces, and faculty and graduate student offices and studios. The main entrance is through a large atrium space. The major spaces within this 250,000 square foot facility are organized by an interior "street" that wraps around the courtyard which was designed to accommodate various types of exhibits.
